✦ ;   they know that he has questions . questions that they cannot truly answer for him themselves , but he surely must have them . everybody always has questions . they do not have many answers to give back . what happens after death , is not in their hands . but , at the very least , they can listen . well , perhaps listen enough to make the other feel heard . not like that would alleviate any pain that he must have , though that is not anything that the eternal hunters can bring themselves to care about . if he wants a response , then he will get one . 

it is the lamb that speaks first this around , even before the male has a chance to say anything first . the softer - spoken spirit stays where she is at , plucking the bowstring with lithe fingers carefully . wolf may not always have the patience for him , but lamb does - she always does . one of them has to .
