Ren stared at the kid in a mask looking up at him. “Yes, I do make pancakes.” He said. He didn’t usually make food for strangers, but he was more lenient with kids than he was with anyone else. “Sure, I don’t see why you can’t have pancakes. It’ll take some time, but I should be able to whip them up relatively quickly for you.” He smiled when the child complimented his hair. “Well, thank you.”

She peers at him from her hiding spot - the delineation between fur and skin was too clean...so it was a mask...interesting; she was in no position to judge and, at least for the time being, he didn’t appear to be hurting anyone, so she was going to elect to ignore his presence for now.

   “  Such  brash  behavior  is  hardly  something  that  could  be  considered  beautiful.  “

   Yukari  crossed  his  arms  over  his  chest  ,  brown  eyes  focused  on  the  other  person  with  something  akin  to  disdain.  Not  to  mention  the  APPEARANCE  of  the  other  was  hardly  something  to  be  called  beautiful  .  Wearing  an  animal  head  and  hiding  one’s  true  features  ?  The  choice  was  far  from  something  beautiful.  

   He  leapt  down  from  the  tree  branch  with  a  grace  seeming  to  angelic  to  be  human  ,  glossed  lips  curved  into  a  smile.  “  Say  ,  you  haven’t  seen  another  person  in  these  parts  have  you  ?  Short  ,  white  fluffy  hair  ,  carrying  an  umbrella  ?  “  he  inquired  curiously.  Could  the  person  even  SPEAK  ?  He  wasn’t  quite  sure  ,  but  he  might  as  well  make  the  effort.

the man wasn’t a weird sight to see around her shop. she had seen everything from demons to trolls, grim reapers and witches. a man with a boar head wasn’t even one bit weird to her. it was a usual saturday for her. she could tell he was a little panicked though and she wished there was something she could do to help. once he showed her the note, she read it carefully and quickly before nodding knowingly and looking up at him again with a soothing smile that wasn’t usually seen on her face.

“it turns out you’re in the right place after all,” hecate pulled him into the store and closed the door behind them before she walked around behind the counter, looking through the shelves of potions she had stored. “someone requested a somewhat complex potion the other day. I wonder who would come to pick it up. I was curious who needed such a thing.”
