today a friend asked me "have you ever thought about dying and how when you are dead, you are just gone forever. never coming back." I didn't know how to respond. I just said "yeah." I went practically speechless. but then it hit me and I was proud of myself and I was happy for those few seconds I realized I have survived. I have survived a monster that rots, takes and ruins you. I have overcome so many suicidal thoughts. I'm proud and happy I'm not gone because there are so many things to look forward to.
