Jackson-Triggs Estate was voted ‘Best Canadian Winery.’ With eleven and a half acres in the Niagara Peninsula it is a must see attraction five minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Upon arrival there are hundreds to thousands of vines of grapes with a modernized glass building right in the middle.
They have tours that lead you through the facility to show you the process of extracting the juice from the grapes, pressing and removing the skin, primary fermentation canisters, secondary fermentation barrels in the cellar, then of course a glass of wine!
