In #curling #frontend players usually don’t get much love because the focus is usually on the skip - they usually throw the last stone hero shots (in a traditional team where the skip is the fourth), and the team usually bears their name. When I first started at @curlsandiego league I was told as the newest & suckiest player, I need to play lead. Generally speaking, there’s this common view that overlooks just how important a good lead is in curling. If the first two stone placements suck, that could be an end killer right there.
