Stunning sunrises or sunsets around Portland can be rare during the winter. So, when I predicted the possibility of a beautiful sunrise at Cape Disappointment, I didn’t hesitate to grab my camera and make the drive. ⠀ ⠀ Cape Disappointment is widely known for its epic waves. However, even though the cape is located on the west coast, the view actually looks towards the east. Therefore, Cape Disappointment provides stunning SUNRISE views. ⠀ ⠀ For this picture, I used a Nikon Z5 with the 50mm f/1.8 S lens. ⠀ Dimensions: 6016 x 4016⠀ Exposure: 0.4 sec at f/11⠀ ISO 100⠀ ⠀ In order to predict a quality sunrise, I use these 3 sources:⠀ @sunsetwx ⠀ @windy_forecast⠀ maps.darksky.net⠀ ⠀ Purchase digital downloads of my Cape Disappointment pictures at my Etsy site.
