In case anyone wants to know how much of a complete disaster I am, here is a bunch of fic notes I wrote while on shift at work, mostly on receipt paper, that I just spent five minutes looking for because I forgot to type it out like a normal human

and a hazy shimmer of hot asphalt and sunshine

warm me in my new blue coat

BART at 10 am on a Monday

and I’m feeling like a crumpled napkin

discarded on the floor of Starbucks

I can’t drink anymore

I do, but I can’t

I’m hazy, foggy, a little crazy

and can’t see very well

after 2 rums and cokes 

But he held me and I held him

Mutual exchange of warmth

and it felt good
