Today I read Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman. When I first picked this book up, it seemed like it was rather short and like it was aimed at a younger demographic than I usually read, but I had received it as a gift, so I thought I would give it a shot. I was correct on the length, it is a shorter book, but the effect it had on me was much greater than it’s length. A sweet book about a girl who just can’t seem to get a break as she gets shipped off to Georgia to live with her aunt. In a new place with no friends and an environment like ones she never seen, you get to watch a scared young girl become a strong and confident young woman through the trials and tribulations that come with a large life change. I would truly recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read with a large impact. Lots of love, and keep reading!
