I feel like if Benny had his hair long and shaggy enough to tie it back into a neatly-messy ponytail it would actually drive Ethan crazy. And with Rory, Benny and Ethan would just be all over him.

Same thing with Alex and Jay. The second that director puts his hair up, Jay is just babbling.
