Inspired by a conversation with @vaguelyethereal,
do you ever see art which makes you feel absolutely feral inside? like the joy and anger when you know reality will never line up with that again
Iconic moments watching Eurovision with the pals
- one friend identified all the hot blonde women as ‘good singers’ then left the room when finding out one of them was 16 cause he fucked up
- Australia doing what the fuck, I love them
- the argument over Madonna and how much we love her
- attacking the guy who doesn’t like ABBA with the fury of 1000 suns
- one guy on tinder asking if I can join this clusterfuck and the answer is no
- we all got randomly assigned countries to support, regardless of how much we liked them, and we get to give out drinks based on points which is high competition
- language students randomly switching languages
- the whole reaction to Iceland
- annoyance I’ve people singing/playing instruments while judging covers the whole group
- “BITCH SHES NOT FOR THE STRAIGHTS SHES FOR US”
- argument whether Sweden is hot as fuck (he is)
So updates:
- the guy unmatched me when I didn’t reply, turns out several of my friends know him
- we freaked out over Norway’s 290 points holy shit (they were goood)
- the thirstiest friend fell asleep
- UK secures the worst position and that is just the tea (fuck brexit)
- I’m technically representing Russia and I hate all of this (it was the country we don’t want to represent that we end up with...)
Make-up should be an accessory, not part of your clothing
The way so many people wear layers of foundation and contouring is so negative and there’s so much pressure. People “put their face on” and feel naked without being perfect and that’s so so so wrong cause you shouldn’t have to change your face to feel happy with it. The way it should be used is like jewellery or a cool jacket - not to cover up anything (cause we should be way more accepting of flaws as a society) but as a cool extension of your outfit - eyeshadow or lipstick that goes with your top in the same way your bracelet or shoes do. It should be fun, not necessary.
I had a dream that I met and fell in love with this beautiful angry girl and we were both dream-walkers set out to fight evil. She kept telling me that she was too damaged and we had our duty to think of but also kept dragging me off to make out and all was good.
i’ve seen a couple of people criticising march for our lives as campaigning for handing over mental health records over to the police and could someone tell me what the source for that is? i went on the march for our lives websites and the closest thing i could find was asking for universal, no loophole background checks when buying firearms, nothing about people treating mental health giving records and patient information to the authorities in general? someone even said more people would be institutionalised and not only does that seem illegal (patient confidentiality) the whole thing stinks of a way to discredit these kids - the kind of tactics used by nra/trump supporters to turn people against march for our lives by acting like they’re left-wing. however, i don’t know enough about how background checks work, and have only looked so far so could someone let me know if they do have a reputable source, thank you
yeah, just remember - don’t take political claims from anywhere at face value anymore. fake news is a real and damaging issue and the internet often blows things out of proportion.
So I had my first counselling appointment today and honestly, it helped so much and I’m so glad I went. Like within an hours session I now know that I’m dealing with actual panic attacks, not something I’m making up and she helped me get to what may be the cause (basically confidence issues and the feeling I can’t do something that I think I should be able to, sends me spiralling into panic and listlessness) and being able to analyse a rational-ish reason why it could be happening is such a relief and makes me feel less lost about the feelings.
the wolf 359 fandom may disagree on some things but we all know what dr hilbert really looks like:
