Beth POV

He turned around and walked over to his window looking out at the street. I was still shocked I didn't know what the fuck to say.

"I-"

"Rio I'm sorry"

I walked over to him and placed my hand lightly on his shoulder him flinching slightly.

I let a breath out trying to calm my nerves I just looked up at him looking in his eyes looking for any indication on what I should do. I didn't want him closing back up again. I was loving this side of him although different from the bad boy I'm used to he was everything I had ever dreamed of in a man. I slowly reached my hand up and grazed his cheek making him face me. He stayed silent and just looked in my eyes searching for what I was thinking before I said it. "I'm sorry" I whispered tears now forming in my eyes. "I should have never said you were anything like him. I just didn't know you felt any of those things" he still said nothing he just turned to fully face me. He lifted his pinky and brushed my hair out of the way. I sighed taking that as a good sign and closed my eyes leaning into his hand. He dragged it down to my chin and lifted my face. It was taking forever I needed to kiss him right now. And that's exactly what I did. I grazed his cheek with my hand and pulled his face to mine standing on my toes and giving him a slow passionate kiss. Both of us taking in a breath of air we hand been to sacred to take out of fear of ruining the moment it was like we gave each other air. He placed his hand on my side and one on my cheek. I wrapped my hands around the back of his neck and leaned my body closer to his. He bit my lip and I allowed entrance and the kiss only became more loving and passionate not lustful like they usually were this one was different it was a REAL kiss.

Rio POV

I was dead just dead. She really kissed me. It finally happened and I didn't know what to think. It was amazing the care I could feel from just one kiss. I had never kissed her or anyone like this before it was so incredible. I pulled away and opened my eyes and looked into hers. I cockily smirked and mumbled "Elizabeth. If I don't know any better I'd say you just kissed me" She laughed and rolled her eyes pushing me a bit "Well it was clear you weren't gonna." "Heyyy! I was getting there" I said laughing a bit then calming down again and pulling her into another kiss.

Beth POV

I was loving every minute of it and just as things started to escalate my phone started to ring I sighed and pulled away going over and getting it. It was dean. Amazing. I rolled my eyes and answered it. "Hello" I said sounding as annoyed as possible I looked u and saw Rio leaning against his window arms crossed smirking and admiring me looking very adorable but my self conscious self got shy blushed and turned away. "Where are you are you ok?" "I'm fine I went over to Annie's for a few drinks be on standby to take the kids to school tomorrow I might stay the night" I said kinda quietly hoping Rio would t hear because I was unsure of what was to happen. I then proceeded to hang up cutting off dean not caring what he was saying. I put my phone down and leaned over to take a sip of bourbon still not turning back around. I heard his footsteps coming from behind me and I could feel him getting closer he then stopped behind me barely touching my back with his chest but I could tell what he was doing. And I couldn't wait.

I'm kinda thinking I need someone to knock Rio down off his 'king" pedastool... Don't get me wrong I do love Rio and I love that he's a badass and constantly seems to have control over everything but that's also kinda my problem with his character right now, he's got such a big ego especially after coming back from being shot and he's become the definition of toxic masculinity and it would being me no greater pleasure right now than to see Beth just knock him down and hand his ass to him. I want to see Beth and the girls rise to the top and be in control for once and show this gangbanger that they too are no one to be messed with. I still do root for brio but right now I just want Beth and the girls to show Rio up and have the upper hand for once.... I'm in desperate need of some girl power I'm tired of seeing our girls get knocked down at every turn. Enough with putting these men on top and in control.I need to see some boss bitches.
