Me: may I refer you to hunt the truth which has entire monologues discussing why surveillance states are bad and the lengths right-wing governments are willing to go to maintain absolute power? Or maybe the first halo novel which discusses similar ideas of the government’s roles and actions? How about we take a look at halo 5’s original concepts before Microsoft stepped in, hmmm?
