Is it alright if I ask a couple Buffy questions? Do think that Buffy ever truly loved Spike? Was it just different then the way she loved Angel? Also would you ever do some Buffy reviews on hiatus because I would for sure enjoy reading them :) thanks for your blog, I've been behind on Arrow this season but have stayed up to date through your blog.
Y’all you can ALWAYS ask me Buffy questions. Yes, I think Buffy loved Spike. I do not believe she was IN love with Spike. There’s a big difference and Spike understood that.
It was incredibly different than the way she loved Angel. Spike challenged Buffy in different ways. He understood the darkness inside her in ways no one else could, but Angel was her future. Her soul mate. The person she was destined to be with, but the world had other plans. But I also loved that Buffy knew she had a love of growing to do as a person before she was ready for Angel, but when that time came... yes. Angel was her choice. The hope between them both is that someday the world would allow them to be together. That’s what gave them each the strength to keep fighting.
