Exemplary flat wasp. Cephalonomia sp. (Bethylidae)
35 of 48. Megaprosternum sp. , a flat wasp (Bethylidae) from Kenya. I had to take a break from drawing this one because of Algonquin Park, and other plans, but I finally finished it this morning.
assorted very small wasps i saw at work last week
representing the hymenopteran families: Pteromalidae, Eurytomidae, Chalcididae, Bethylidae, Dryinidae, and Braconidae
This is what micropterous Bethylus are up to when no one is watching 👀...... they are parasitoids of mainly microlepidoptera.
oh we love to see some fancy tiny wasps: - bethylid wasp, probably Cephalonomia sp - fig wasp, Pleistodontes sp. - eulophid wasp, Zagrammosoma centrolineatum
