It used to make me so mad when people just told me not to overthink things. I didn’t understand how to just STOP thinking, especially because it’s such a big part of my identity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Over time I tried to use my intuition and body to make small decisions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I accepted that I don’t need to believe every single one of my thoughts, which helped me focus on the control I DO have. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After facing rejection over and over, I learned to release control of the results I think I want and replace that energy by focusing on the intention and effort I put into the things that I want. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Using intuition, letting go of what I can’t control, and being mindful of the things I can control have been monumental in my journey to stop overthinking. . . . . #overthinking #overanalyzing #followyourintuition #mentalhealthmatters #betigrewup https://www.instagram.com/p/CAN42o0grNA/?igshid=1fh65kr1fk9o6
