Look at those little blue cheeks!!!!
Baby Rubra Check-in day
Feeding time!
They’re really starting to look like little versions of their parents. A couple of the bigger ones have started flaring and chasing each other. Some are developing quite solid colour lines and even a red tint on the fins.
The second tank babies are still going well too. Let’s all pretend you can’t see all that hair algae. I guess that’s what I get for letting that tank sit in the sun.
A water change and debris clean had Rupert extra glowy and super curious about the camera today. You can just see some of his babies behind him and get sort of a feel for how much bigger they are now.
Look closer...closer still.....we have betta fry!! Good job Captain.
Eugene the baby betta with food!
I tried to feed Athena brine shrimp, but I think they're too big for her :/ Any suggestions for baby betta food? The petsmart worker told me if the brine shrimp are to big then preuss sells some kind of fry food, but preuss is sort of far so it might be some time before I can go there.
Jarred my mahachai fry tonight. ♡
