wanna commit to putting together some character bios for this lot at some point so I've been wanting to play with some accompanying art... here's the set together:

her design has changed a little since that first sketch but not hugely, hahaha

she's a prodigious bird tamer with an affinity for birds of prey, and was extensively involved in the Darlings' animal trade for most of her life.

Bette was the only person who loved me so dearly. When we were in the womb, she told us how beautiful this world was, so we’d get interested and be born soon. She spoke how powerful our father was and how easy and stable our life would be.

I listened to her gentle voice and studied. I was the only one who heard her.

And I was deceived.
