I can't believe that this whole week has been like a TRAIN WRECK for me, both mentally and physically. And through it all, I've still managed to do gym time all week. The biggest problem that I've had was getting myself mentally prepared to workout. No easy task when you consider that work has thrown me into a place where I have no business being at. I was like a Fish out of Water so to speak. I take everything I do serious, but to be put in a place, where I have nothing to do for 8 hours and get paid for it...well, that's just not me.

I'd rather be busy for 8 hours than do nothing at all, because not doing anything can wear on you. Trust me...it wore on me and I was mentally drained from it. Imagine being the 'Ace' of the place that you work at and you feel this helplessness because you don't know a thing about the new surroundings you are put in. And when I try to do something extra, they (the Bosses and the Employees) tell me not to do it. That's what I've had to put up with all week.

I'm thinking of taking the rest of the week off (from the gym) just so I can get the juices flowing again and get back my RIGHT STATE OF MIND. I don't think this is burnout. What I do know is being put in a situation can take it's toll.

On a special note, I will say that I am proud of the fact that I did make it to the gym all week. I just wish I put in a little better effort than the effort I put in all week.
