HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATSURA!!!! On volume 66 of the Gintama manga, Sorachi draws an imagined Better Timeline picture of Shoyo and his pupils, including his first pupil, and with Gintoki, Katsura and Takasugi looking like they're in their late teens or early twenties. I took inspiration from that wistful drawing and drew a Zura and a Shoyo-sensei from that timeline, with Katsura giving his sensei a shoulder rub!
