As always, I had an amazing time in Florida last week helping with Cesar’s course at the Country Inn Pet Resort. Such an amazing and beautiful facility. My brother/one of our pack leaders from Kapooch, Wesley, came with me to take the course. And it was amazing! Every time I go I learn something new, not only from Cesar, but also from all the trainers, volunteers and the different students and dogs that attend. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to help and be a part of the courses for the past 4 years. Cesar’s mission is to make a better world through dogs. And it’s an honor to be a small part of that mission! ❤️❤️ 1: Wes walking the pack with his dog Puck. (the chihuahua) He is a rescue that had been hit by a car and had multiple fractures in his pelvis and legs. He was dog aggressive and fearful of people. Wes has done an amazing job rehabilitating him in the few months he’s had him, and his progress showed last week! He was a SUPER STAR and met so many dogs and people (including Cesar!). He did better than we could’ve imagined. 2: Cesar explaining leader and follower roles. Dogs will take over the leadership role, if we don’t fill that role for them. 3: Wesley learning from the master and walking the pack. Dexter is in there helping. 😊❤️ 4: Trainer Todd Langston, doing a morning demo with the students. 5: Doggie love - Cesar and his pack Benson and Alfie Millan. 6: Another awesome Cesar trainer, Karen Carvajal, with the Cesar pack. Dexter had the honor and privilege to be a part of that pack and help the students on the pack walks. 7: The celebration for all the hard work with the team! 9: Wrap up with three amazing Cesar trainers: Todd, Steve, and Yoa. Summarizing taking it all home after our celebration. 10: Ending calm: our last day together doing our very last pack walk in silence, to end in meditation and calmness before we all go home.
