"Being a bit less of a moron, for once." He gave her a small smirk, a liight wink following. "Hmm.. Listen. Don't doubt me. There's no reason to, I'm all yours. I might be a pirate but even treachery and debauchery have their limits. Now, grace with one of those smiles of yours, I've grown rather fond of'em." He pecked her lips quickly, smirking cheekily at her.
She did smile softly and ducked her head down. She stepped closer to him and placed her hand on his chest. “All mine?” She asked softly, still smiling. Damn him indeed for being so smooth, but she couldn’t help herself. She loved him, there was no denying that.”It wasn’t that I doubted you. It was… your words stung. And you could do that, if you wanted to. I just hope I never give you a reason to do that.”
It only then occurred to him that maybe that lovely creature next to him wasn't feeling all that well. He shifted a little, attempting to get a better look at her. "What's wrong?" If he hadn't been fairly certain that it wasn't the fact that he was awful with modern technology, he'd probably blamed it on that. It was, however, a thought too absurd to be the cause of her disdain.
She laughed lightly and hid her face by resting her forehead on her hands instead. “I’m being a doubtful idiot, that’s what’s wrong.” Her hands clenched her knees and her nails dug into her skin. “But I’m in love with you so I justify it by being a lovestruck moron who hasn’t been in a meaningful relationship in years.”
He threw the phone aside, already having lost the will to try with it anymore and pushed the door open. At first, he expected her to be sitting on the bed or maybe in a chair or something, so he didn't quite spot her right away. A frown formed on his face as his eyes cast over the room, eventually spotting her on the floor. "....what are you doing down there?", he asked, raising an eyebrow and moving over to sit next to her.
She hadn’t said a word to him when he came in. Instead, she hugged her knees and rested her chin against her forearms. She watched. She watched as his hawk like gaze scanned the room. He stood firmly and proudly, like a pirate should. Not belonging to any kingdom, to anyone. He was his own king and master. How she admired that about him.
She never had the courage to leave, to be on her own. Where no laws, no judgemental eyes would stare her down and make her feel worthless, a monster.
“Moping.” She answered in a whisper, still staring ahead of her self.
[text] and it makes making threats harder plus i dont see peoples faces which is just horribly bothersome And he almost walked against things on his way to her, though he always managed to dodge them just before the impact. As soon as he'd reached the Inn, where he expected her to be, he pushed the door open and quietly made his way towards the room. [text] for example i got no idea what you look like and thats just a cruel situation
[text] No it doesn’t.
She settled down on the ground instead and curled her legs against her chest. There was something awfully wrong with this situation. She wasn’t almost crying anymore, so it was better but her heart still stung.
[text] Neither do I. There are no mirrors in the storage room.
[text] its unnecessarily complicated and takes long with only one hand im just going to keep actually talking with people Because that always goes so terribly well. He seemed to be getting hit a lot lately, so probably a phone would be a handy thing to have. Then again, threats didn't quite work out through it. He'd just go and make his way to Ruby while they were texting.
Oh, this was just getting ridiculous!
She pressed her palms against her eyes and silently cursed herself. She was not one to cry over a man, especially one that makes - hopefully - empty threats over text messages. She picked up the phone form the box next to her and sighed. Empty, of course it was an empty threat. He knows I can rip him to shreds. Not that she ever would.
[text] It’s convenient when you want to avoid someone.
