I’m beginning to get the sense that the fae’s whole “we don’t have emotion” thing is less like some people don’t have brown eyes, i.e. they were born that way, and more like some people don’t a full set of kidneys or an appendix or a spleen, i.e. someone cut it out with a knife.

Funny how W.R. Gingell wrote a book about a murderer who literally takes out people’s hearts and then finished the book by tearing out the reader’s heart too :)))))))))

The end of the book happens. 

Me: No, wait - I take it back. I didn’t want to be right about it. Aaaa!

Me: gets emotional over the end of book four. 

Brain: plays ‘Defying Gravity’

Me: gets emotional all over again

(especially the part of “what you’ve worked and waited for / you can have all you’ve ever wanted / yes, but i don’t want it / no - i can’t want it anymore”)
