Starter for bewarethebatglare

“Come on ole girl,” the Doctor yelled as he hit the TARDIS console. They were spiraling through time and space, chasing an unknown object. The object was capable of both time and space travel and the Doctor had never seen anything quite like it before. Of course he was going to chase it.
The object got closer and closer to Earth as the Doctor gave chase in the TARDIS. ”Where are we headed?” he asked himself as he looked at the projected coordinates on the TARDIS console.
“Gotham, United States, Earth,” a voice blurred from the TARDIS console. The Doctor held on tightly as he watched the object splash into Gotham harbor. He landed the TARDIS near by.
“Oi,” he said as he walked out, the TARDIS console room in smoke from the difficult voyage. "Now, what could you be?“ he asked and looked around. "Wait, I’m in Gotham.” He ran into the TARDIS console room. "What year is it?“ he typed into the computer and was amazed by the result as he ran out and looked into the sky. Sure enough, the Bat Signal was above him. "Well, this could be interesting,” he smirked. He scanned the harbor with no signs of the alien life or technology. "If I’m going to find whatever that is, I might need some help and I know just the man who might be able to,“ he said to himself as he looked up at the Bat Signal and started walking towards the police head quarters.
