Hey Kuma, how's your English coming along?
Umm not very well
Hello. I was currently writing my story and my cousin asked me a question I couldn't answer: When a wolf scent marks in another wolves pack's territory is that considered a challenge? and if it is what would happen if a pup/cub was to ever do it? would the wolves attack the pups or the pack?
Wolf families are aware of their neighbors. The breeding pair who are leading the pack exclude non-pack members from their territory and will try to kill trespassers.[1] Mature, subordinate pack members are sometimes less hostile to outside wolves, because those alien wolves are potential mates.
I’m not sure about this, but in case of a pup scent marking in another pack’s territory, the wolves will most likely attack the pup. I think so because I know both breeders and immatures of both sexes have been killed during territorial trespasses. (Mech et al. 1998) But bear in mind that the breeding male and female mark, but subordinates do not, unless vying for dominance. So it would be something in the first place for a pup to mark in general, let alone in another pack’s territory. Which answers your other question as well; if an alien wolf scent marks in another pack’s territory, I’d say it’s considered a challenge, yes :)
Da fuck does it matter if its off google or not? Da fuck does it matter if my tattoo is tribal or not? It's my damm body & it's my damm tattoo, I saw it, I really liked it Don't like it? Don't give a fuck
