Are you excited for spiderman homecoming ?

I am!! ❤️✨ I know that people have brought up concerns about plot elements differing from the comics, and from the other Spider-Man movies, but I am just happy to have another Spider-Man movie in live action. There is little that I love more than watching his acrobatics in real time.

As for the story changes they’re making, my stance is that they have to at least try to tell a new story even though we’re stuck with another high school aged Peter Parker. (High school teacher Peter Parker is my favorite Peter Parker in the comics.)

Spider-Man is my #1 favorite character of all time, even though my interest sort of sat on the back burner for a few years, so I’m happy for anything that brings him back onto the big screen and into current events. (And also: merchandise everywhere.)

I am also SUPER excited that Miles Morales is gonna get his own movie!! He needs more attention too!

Hoo boy this is gonna be interesting. We’ll have to build this ship from the ground up. It’ll be a slow burn for me. I’m shipping Rogue and Deadpool platonically at the moment, but that’ll change. I have relationships with my ships… I can’t picture them getting freaky right away. It just feels Wrong to me. I have to develop my headcanons first and let the relationship grow organically in my head.

I just am completely overwhelmed by how close they’ve gotten in Uncanny. The trust and loyalty and obvious care. And especially how Uncanny #21 wrapped up… wow. Tugs me right in the feels.

True! I liked Supergirl! Watched too much of it at once and moved on to other things before I finished the first season, but I plan to go back to it. The Flash got a bit tiresome for me, though.

I haven’t met a DC cartoon show that I didn’t enjoy at least to a moderate degree, and some of them over the years I’ve really really loved. (Batman/Superman adventures and Batman Beyond in particular. As well as the Red Hood movie.) Haven’t gotten around to watching Teen Titans, though. Keep meaning to.
