So I've been playing My Time at Sandrock and it's very cute! It's similar to Stardew Valley with farming and building.

Met a cute romanceable NPC named Owen and worked my butt off earning enough money to buy him an engagement ring.

Tried to propose to him but the game was all "YoUr hOuSe iSn'T bIg EnOuGh" so I work my ass off some more and buy the $6,000 double bed and expand my house.

I'm just about ready to propose to Owen. He asks me to help him put on a play at his saloon. I said hell yeah and help him put on his play

And then...

Dude whips out a ring and proposes to ME mid play. I was genuinely surprised

And slightly dying inside because I spent money on the engagement ring I bought for him and I tried to give it to him later but the game won't let me 😤

Ok so the extra cute part about all this is that my real life husband proposed to me in a very similar way. He asked me to "read this short story I'm working on" which was actually a proposal 🥰
