To Speak With Cinders || Rebekah & Egrid
Egrid walked through the, frankly incredible, house (he wondered if that was even the correct term to use) with a hand on the strap of his shoulder bag and tried to keep his eyes from widening too often as he took in the decor. It was hard not to be amazed; growing up as he had, just on the breadline, it was the kind of glamour that only seemed to exist in television shows, films or the fairytales he’d fallen in love with. Honestly, it wouldn’t seem odd to turn a corner and see Princess Cinderella sat in a ballgown gazing lovingly at her prince.
But he was getting lost in his own head, he had a delivery to make. It was rare he made them in person but it was only two tubs and the walk had been a nice excuse to see more of the city, a chance to think as well. He finally reached the room he’d been directed too, the library and knocked softly on the door before walking inside...
She wasn’t wearing a ballgown, but the beautiful blonde woman he saw could easily have passed for a princess in her castle. Egrid felt a his eyes widen and small smile curl his lips as he opened he mouth and spoke so softly it barely moved the silence of the room.
“I beg your pardon, but are you Ms Rebekah Mikaelson? I brought the ice cream you requested,” he patted his bag gently, “One chocolate, one lavender and honey.”
