That Grace Randolph reviewer is getting trashed about her review of P&T

Good, she’s a fucking hypocrite.

The audacity of her follow up tweets and comments on that video are gross.

She’s completely minimising the point of the backlash. “I think if Pam gave it a chance” etc…Grace, it’s HER LIFE, she doesn’t need to fucking see it. The fact it was made without her and against her will, IS the problem.

These reviewers don’t get it. Half aren’t even old enough to remember the scandal in the first place.

Just block or unfollow this clown. Most YouTubers are clout chasing wannabes anyway. She’s probably enjoying the attention the backlash brings her channel.

Random youtuber: Im not sure Curran Walters is the right casting choice because Jason Todd looks like a teenage male prostitute. Me: ....I don't know if I should take it as an insult or compliment.

Not that random, it was probably Grace Randolf from Beyond the Trailer.

I think saying someone looks like a prostitute solely based on their physical features (not even their clothes or mannerisms) is just…like, no one is just born looking like a prostitute, as if there is a certain type of human being with physical features that mean you’re going to be a prostitute or something, like what the hell, Grace? That’s messed up. Would you say that about a woman/girl? Seems wrong to me.

My only guess is she meant like…he was attractive in a way that would appeal to people who wanted to take advantage of young boys which…I can see that. Curran is slender, even muscled-up, and has puffy lips and a certain prettiness to him, but I don’t think for a young Robin!Jason that’s a bad thing. I also think for a Robin!Jason that’s not bad casting because there have been some implications that Jason either may have been sexually assaulted and/or been prostituted as a child. So ‘male prostitute’ is kind of in that alley.

I think Curran is doing a serviceable job with what he’s been given so far, though I kind of agree there are some problems with his casting choice. Right now his character is supposed to be 19 and I think that’s way too old. I think if his character was more like 16 it would be better, because I don’t think there’s anyway Curran could play an adequate Red Hood, which is a plot line everyone assumes they are going to try to do. I feel like they need an actor that is at least as physically imposing as Brendan Thwaites and Curran ain’t it and he’s full grown, he ain’t getting bigger. A younger actor might have been able to grow into that. Not to mention I’m not sure if he really has the acting chops–he does alright being a posturing little punk with a vulnerable spot and a certain darkness, so maybe he does, or he’ll grown into it over time, but I’m skeptical. I think they’ll probably need to recast if they do Red Hood to really make him as menacing as he’s supposed to be but that would kind of mess up the ‘reveal’ because he’d take off the hood and we’d all be like, who is this guy?

Honestly though if he just stays robin for a good long while that’ll be good with me. I like seeing Robin!Jay I’m not in a hurry to traumatize my poor child.
