asking-near: Matt doesn't consider him an enemy. Yes, he is dating the person Matt is in love with....but, he belives it's his own fault for not saying anything for so long
a-complex-inferiority: Matt keeps being in love with him, and....even if it doesn't work, he would love to keep being his best friend. Although not for a very big time.
