EDITOR PORTRAIT // Colin Reilly 🌊 💃🏻
A toast to you, Reilly!! "Editor Portraits" is a series that shines light on our awesome editors to share their work, their favorite things, and their glowing personalities. Colin, AKA Reilly around the office, is a tried and true P.S.260 staff member since 2007. Here's a peek of his world #BeyondTheBoards!
Reilly says...
🖤 Favorite Spot I Cut for P.S.260 – I cut a short called “Cell Watch: Strip Cell” about solitary confinement with director Jane Morledge that was incredibly hard but was really rewarding and the first thing I’ve cut that I got to see play in a movie theater
🥪 Favorite Food to Eat While Editing – Chicken salad on rye w/ extra crispy bacon and Swiss and a lil mustard. But I have stomach issues with gluten so this is a rarity for me.
💃🏻 Movies That Inspired My Work As An Editor – Moonlight, A Clockwork Orange, Strictly Ballroom
🎳 Favorite Things to Do Other Than Edit – Surf, drink wine with friends, play tennis, I’m dying to be able to go bowling again, ride my bike, dance, watch movies, play soccer, read, research gear, surf the web.
🎞 Best Editing Software – Adobe Premiere is my NLE software of choice these days!
