I lost my Layla a little over a year ago, but I still feel her presence so strongly in my life. When I recently moved, I knew I wanted a way to take her with me, so I created a tiny effigy of her to carry with me. Stuffed inside is a picture of her (see last photo), one of her favorite jingly-ball toys, and some rosemary for remembrance. There were even bits of her hair still clinging to the yarn I used! The moon charm is a symbol of her name, which is Egyptian for "born at night" (I named her that because she came to me at night, seemingly out of nowhere 😊). We have successfully moved and I still feel her with me. Its comforting to know that she's still looking out for me, even from beyond the Rainbow Bridge. #catsofinstagram #gonebutnotforgotten #beyondtherainbowbridge https://www.instagram.com/p/BzbIdK5prjT/?igshid=1thx0ry18nei
