The first time I fell in love, I gave to a person who couldn’t reciprocate.  Underneath the suppression and regression, I became something I’m not. At every point of happiness or vulnerability I was met the hardest lows, so much so my body is now naturally programmed to be sad after a day of happiness to the point I feel manic.  I began to resent her without my knowing.  I tried my damnest to not blame her for my feelings, but she sure as hell was a catalyst that set the ensuing storm of titans free.  I knew what I was getting myself into and I am responsible for my actions and losing control/composure, but I couldn’t anticipate the torrent that was behind the dams i built. I was basically in a long distance relationship with somebody right in front of my eyes.
