Hey! I feel like I always ask questions. xD Sorry for that. I love this blog and you're so funny and kind to your followers!! It's so refreshing to see! Thank you for that! Anyway, I was wondering OOC if you have any cosplay advice? Like, what to expect as a cosplayer at conventions, your opinion on making your own costume/buying it, if you've ever felt insecure cosplaying, and if so, how you overcame it, etc.? I'm new to cosplay, so thanks so, so much in advance!

Cosplay advice, huh? Hmm… To be honest, I’ve only been cosplaying for about 6 years, and while that seems like a lot, I know others who have been cosplaying twice as long. Not to mention the fact that I’ve bought all of my cosplays so far, haha.In terms of what to expect, I would say that you shouldn’t expect anything. A lot of people think they’ll cosplay a really popular character and get lots of love and attention, then they might end the day feeling like their dreams didn’t come true after all. My advice is to just go out, do your best to have fun, and let people come to you. If they stop you for a picture, great! Pose for them! If no one does, odds are you’ll still have a good time taking photos of other people and doing fun things in and around the con space.As I mentioned, I’ve yet to make my own cosplay, so I think it’s really impressive when others do. That being said, I’m hoping I can get to the point where I can make my own stuff eventually, but that’s more of a “let’s see” situation. I don’t think anyone should be harassed for buying a cosplay, as this kind of thing does happen. The fact that a person wanted to be their favorite character in the first place is reason enough to let them be and enjoy themselves. Long story short: if you feel comfortable making your own cosplay, more power to you. If you feel more comfortable buying your cosplay (or are short on time), go right ahead! Own that look!Finally, insecurities. Can’t make it through life without them. I’ll be honest, I was pretty nervous when I started cosplaying. But with enough support from your friends and the cosplay community, you can start to overcome those doubts. You’ll (hopefully) start to feel more comfortable just being you (or your character) the more you do it, so keep at it! I know this all sounds kinda hokey, but it’s really what did it for me. I think that, more than anything, one of my bigger insecurities was seeing myself on camera/screen, so making the GIFs I used to make really helped with that (and I hope to get back to doing that someday).Anyway, I hope that helped answer some questions for you! I completely understand. And yeah, he was really nice! We were surprised that such a small con could get him and Troy Baker as guests, but it was a real treat to have them. Definitely a great way to start the year!

not getting along with my brothers (i know it's stupid but it's such a shame and i wish we could have been closer)

I don't know, I'm fucking annoying. Um I think it's my empathy.

I love my left pinky finger because it has a giant scar from surgery. I also love my eyes and hips.

my mom. she's basically my life. I honestly dont know what i'd do without her.

I really value kindness. as lame as it sounds, I feel like it's so necessary for everyone's existence.

marrying the love of my life of course

I want to be married and have at least one child to whom i care for during the day as a stay-home mom.

basically everything tbh. I'm so irritable.

I sleep until the problem goes away.

I would probably just crawl into my mom's arms and cry a lot and call my boyfriend and apologizing for dying so soon
