The picture on the left is 4 days away from a year old. I was sick with ITP and I was being dosed with steroids so my face and body puffed up with scaly acne and water weight and I felt awful in every way possible. I weighed 128 lbs at my worst point. I’ve always struggled with weight management/loss and it was so frustrating to get up there again after years of struggling to stay on my preferred 115 lbs average. In January, I weighed around 122 lbs and looked slightly better and FELT back to normal. I entered remission. 🙏🏻❤️ And then this morning I weighed myself again, and saw that I am FINALLY back to 115 lbs!!! I took a selfie and I saw a significant difference!!! But my face didn’t want to fake a smile this morning, so you get my “pretending to be indignant” face 😂 I normally never ever post stuff about weight and my body or face or anything but I really wanted to share my happiness with you people. At this weight point, I finally have a greater motivation to keep working on eating healthy and staying active. (Chocolate is still my drug, though. Never giving that up.) I walk an average of 7.4 at work 5 days a week and that HAS contributed greatly to my weight loss. I love being a personal shopper!!! Not only my job is what pays my bills, it’s also my daily workout. 😉😂 If you choose to spend time feeling sorry for yourself about your body, it’ll never be a successful way to change your lifestyle. Choose to change your perspective. And choose to accept yourself. (Within reason. Of course. 😉 ) #weightlossjourney #ITP #beyourownchange https://www.instagram.com/p/CCvdc9XgdTN/?igshid=l0uppkt3ivd8
