What’s the story behind your MC(s)’ name?

I’ve been coming across some really great WIPs and a lot of you guys have MC(s) with such unique names!! It makes me wonder what’s the story behind it?  Feel free to reblog with your response or put it in the tags!

As for me, my MC Bez’s name came to mind in the most unorthodox way. To put it simply, I was maladaptively daydreaming about my future as I usually do yes i’m a loser i know lmao and I was thinking what if I had a best friend named Bez? Then the next thing you know I added the name to my list of potential character names, then I finally decided I’d use it myself. It’s crazy lol

Anyways I’d love to hear you guys’ responses!
