I hate when I see a good post and the author has disabled replies and reblogs. My dude, what was the point of posting it?

If you're censoring something with asterisks, please, please, please just do the vowels. Otherwise, I have no idea what the fucking word is or why it should be censored.
*long sigh*
One of the less fun aspects of being a community mod is the irreparable damage it'll do to your For You feed.
I know, most people don't use the For You feed, but I actually do.
Just banned a porn bot, which I discovered by looking at their profile, which was (unsurprisingly) porn. So naturally Tumblr has decided I love porn and is showing me as much as possible.
And I can't even block the porn blogs because they might show up in my communities.
*sigh*
I don't want to sound all "old person yells at cloud" here, but I really have to get this off my chest.
If you're sitting somewhere in one place or standing around waiting for a bus or whatever, by all means, have your phone out. I get it. I'm addicted too.
But, and I really cannot emphasize this enough, once you start moving, that phone has to go away. Because you've become a hazard.
Maybe it's because I didn't get wrapped up in the whole Pokémon Go phenomenon, but I feel like that game normalized walking around with your phone out, and it needs to stop.
No one gets wanting to not pay attention to the world more than me, but you have to at least pay attention to your immediate surroundings.
Today in enshittification news, my email app has decided that I am no longer allowed to delete emails from the notification screen, making me have to open the app to individually deal with the potentially hundreds of almost entirely spam emails I get on a daily basis.
I suspect that I will just turn off email notifications as a result. Maybe log in once a day and wipe out all the spam at once.
The TikTok ads that immediately launch your app store to download TikTok when you scroll past them. Fuck those to death.
I was already never going to install or use TikTok, but you made it personal.
