cw: fluff, slightly suggestive, drinking implied, this is just cutie, not really proofread, possessive rafe kinda?
a/n: this was way longer than i meant it to be LMAO but yaassss
you wore the tiniest mini skirt tight around your bum, a pretty little top that pressed your boobs together just right, and kitten heels to complete the fit— along with your usual jewelry, small clutch that only kept makeup and a digi, and sunglasses hanging from your top. your makeup was absolutely flawless, gloss shining across your plump lips and highlighter sprinkled upon your cheekbones and nose.
once rafe and you started dating, you both kind of stopped going to parties altogether. the time for that was replaced with trips out of the country, lavish date nights, and late nights spent binging sitcoms.
so when kelce, rafe’s best friend, begged you guys to pop out at his end of summer function— you knew you had to show up and show out. and rafe? he was just excited to be there by your side too.
rafe was sat at the edge of your bed, eyes glued to your figure. jaw dropped, a small smirk, and a scrunch between his eyebrows. a lucky man.
“mkay, all done! how do i look?” you spin once, giving a pose and pout.
chuckling and speechless, his hands practically yank you into him and found a comfortable spot, squeezing your ass.
“baby, you look so damn hot,” he looks up at you in disbelief, still groping the flesh of your bottom like a fein.
“it’s not too much?” you look down at yourself and brush out a wrinkle in your top.
“of course it is. too much for those trust fund kooks to see. god, i just wanna keep you here. no one else should get to see ya like this. so so fuckin’ perfect,” he kisses at your arms and trailing to your jaw, pulling you inward against him.
“thank you,” you giggled, holding his head against your chest.
a small step back, he stands up with you and makes you do one more little twirl first before leaving your room.
and just as you’re about to head out the door, you’re already pleading with him to take instagram photos of you.
“rafe, pleaseeee it’ll be real quick. here get the digi,” taking your clutch from him, you dig into it for your digital camera and hand it to him.
“don’t forget what i taught you!” you also shove your phone at him, forcing him to place everything else at the table by the door.
he doesn’t even try to argue—never does, really—even if you were supposed to be early to kelce’s party to pregame.
rafe had one hand holding your phone and the other had your digi pinched between his fingers, switching hands every 30 seconds.
hitting every pose you knew, rafe was clicking away and in awe of your presence. he just cheers you on, trying to get candid laughs and cheeky smiles out of you.
stuff like yes pose for the camera baby, my girl’s a damn model, and look at that beautiful face.
“does this look good?”
he simply hums in agreement.
“promise?” you mutter, running your fingers through your hair to give it more volume.
“yes, i promise. absolutely stunning. keep doing that one— aw yeah, there’s my baby’s pretty face.” he just stands there, grinning like an idiot.
you even moved from the stairs, to the front porch, and finally beside his sleek black car just for these photos. though rafe pretended to be annoyed by playing photographer, the truth was he loved every second of watching you in your element— looking as painlessly hot as you always do.
“you look so fuckin’ beautiful, baby,” he gives a shit-eating asshole smug. “all mine later to f-”
you immediately stop posing and step over, snatching your phone and digi from him.
“alright, that’s enough. let’s go.” rolling your eyes when he just laughs wickedly, slapping your butt as you walk past.
opening the car door for you, he takes your hand to help you in, holding back his laughter.
and later at the party, you make your friends take photos of you guys together. no matter how you pose him, he still sneaks his hand onto your butt or over your breast, a bold claim to anyone watching that you were his, and he was yours.
a/n: if i'm being completely honest, i wrote this cus my dog will be all over my house, but i call him once and he'll sleep by me. anyway, this was really cute. i got war flashbacks writing ab the workout— "rollers" NO!! enjoy :P
you were laid out comfortably in rafe's bed and doomscrolling on your phone. rafe, however, was constantly on the move. like he just would not stay put in the house.
like today for instance— one minute, he's sleeping on the couch. the next, he's making a protein shake and lifting in the gym. and then, he's doing work on his laptop by the pool.
but one thing about rafe? he will always come to you the second you call his name. just drops whatever he's doing and makes his way back to you.
"rafe?" and that's really all it takes.
no other words need to be exchanged, only comfortable expressions and the understanding that you wanted him near you. like if you put him in the same room as a lovesick puppy, you would not be able to tell the difference.
he walks into the room with a big ol' smile on his face. you carelessly toss your phone onto the nightstand, opening your arms wide.
he jumps into them and practically melts into your body like some damn quicksand. your arms just engulfing him, nearly suffocating him in your embrace.
"whatcha been doing? i was just looking at purses online and literally in the span of an hour— your snoring, the blender, then your workout playlist blaring through the vents, and for some reason... your clicking on the keyboard. from the poolside." you laugh, rubbing his shoulders and pressing kisses to his slightly sweaty head.
he lets out a soft laugh, shoulders lifting in a casual shrug as he joins in with you, "can't a man be productive?"
you give a small shake of your head, and he tilts his own, silently asking what’s on your mind.
"no, like, can't my man be counterproductive with me?" you groan against his buzzed hair.
"sweetheart, you’re lucky i’m not dragging you through another core session. you did it with me once and swore off working out together for good," he leans back just enough to shoot you a playful look.
"you tried to kill me, baby!"
"rollouts, deadlifts, and hip bridges. not exactly murderous," he corrects you.
"and every time i couldn't do a rollout, you smacked my butt. and not in a good way! it was taunting. you, rafe cameron, are a bully," a pout forms on your face, pushing his away but his grip tightens around you.
"alright, alright. i'll stay here with you for the rest of the day. might lose my abs though..." he pauses, clearly thinking hard. you raise a brow. "unless you wanna watch me do core. i won't make you do anything, angel."
you practically jolt up, standing up on the bed like a soldier.
"okay, let's go. core time, baby!"
rafe snorts and tosses you over his shoulder, hopping off the bed and heading downstairs to the gym.
"you wanna sit on my back when i do planks?" he runs his hand over the back of your thigh with a growing smirk.
cw: angsty, argument between rafe x reader, reader has insomnia, ends w/ fluff :3
a/n: idc WHATEVER (this was really cute to write heh)
as much as you hated fighting with rafe, it was just a given in your relationship. any relationship for that matter. he was stubborn, but so were you. you hadn’t spoken to him for two days now. just absolutely no contact for the time being.
unfortunately, silence wasn’t the only thing that followed with the arguments. it was the sleepless nights. you’ve always had sleeping problems, but since your relationship with rafe started— you’d been sleeping like a baby. he was there every night to soothe you into a good nine hour sleep.
by the third day of this fight, you were exhausted. and so was rafe. he knew you too well. he knew you weren’t sleeping and taking care of yourself properly. it was just killing him not being there to make sure you were okay. he felt awful for the fight, but you both just needed space.
was he still mad? of course!
was he going to be the first to say sorry? of course.
he always was.
laying in your bed, you stared at the clock atop your doorway. why was it moving so slowly? every time you looked away then looked back, not even three minutes passed. what the hell?
the clock strung loudly once it hit midnight.
you groan, “i. can’t. sleep.” you toss the blankets off of you and pace the room.
“maybe push-ups will help.” you mutter to yourself and drop to the floor. you get in a few push-ups before giving up. what were you even doing? why can’t you sleep? and how did you even—
your thoughts are cut short when your phone buzzes and rings off the nightstand, thudding against your bedroom floor.
rafe’s contact photo flashes across the screen. you just stare at it, all disheveled and slightly out of breath from the push-ups. it eventually stops and you sit back into bed.
ring, ring, ring!
again?
you grab your phone and stare at his contact photo a bit longer this time. it was a sweet photo of him smiling with a bouquet and your lip combo smeared across his face in kiss marks.
oh, how you missed your sweet boy.
a flicker of doubt spins through you, but nonetheless, your thumb punches down the green answer button.
“hi sweetheart.” you swore you could hear him smiling through his words.
“hey rafe, why are you calling?”
“figured you weren’t sleeping— i mean, couldn’t fall asleep.”
“no, i was asleep.” you say immediately after, a tinge of annoyance in your tone.
how was he always right when it came to you?
“sure you were,” he snorts. muffled sounds of shifting blankets, gulps of water, and a soft plop onto his pillow.
“look, baby… i’m sorry how heated things got the other day. i had no right to raise my voice at you. i know i can’t make it up to you— missing our dinner date. my assistant double booked me, yeah... but i should've caught it. an accident, but it was still my fault. but uh instead of…” he breathes in.
“instead of apologizing, i made excuses. and when you were clearly still upset, i should’ve reassured you instead of spinning it back on you. that was wrong. it was disrespectful. i really am an idiot, and i hate that i made you feel anything less than special. i’m so sorry, sweet girl.”
you huff into the phone, giving it some thought before responding.
“thank you for that,” you muttered, cozied into your bed once again.
“of course, angel...” he lets out a relieved breath. “haven’t been sleeping, hm?”
“yeah, i lied.”
he laughs softly, “i know, baby. i know.”
you laugh, lying on your side with your hands tucked under your head, a smile on your face as you look at your phone resting flat by your pillow.
“i didn’t realize i only slept good with you,” you say lowly.
“guess i always knew. you were nicer to me once you were getting in a good night’s sleep,” he playfully mocks you.
“oh whatever,” you scoff.
“well, uh… i have a lot of paperwork to do. i don’t want to keep you—”
“wait rafe can can you stay on the phone? just ‘til i fall asleep. please?” you ask with a smaller voice.
“yeah, i can do that.”
you shuffle around in bed, making sure every corner is locked down and then turn back to your phone.
“you all tucked in, baby?”
you hum, a quiet yes beneath the surface.
“i’m wearing your hoodie,” you mumbled sleepily.
“hm? which one?”
“the uh-” you peek under the blanket to check. “the golf one. the g-”
“oh the green one? i forgot you had that,” he smiles to himself, just taking in the image of you in it.
“yeah…” you yawned, scooting around more settled in now.
rafe could tell you were seconds from sleep, so he kept talking— knowing his voice was all you needed to drift off.
“i can tell you’re about to knock out so goodnight, baby. sleep good. i love you.” his expression softened, words flowing easier with each breath.
“i love you, rafe…” you mumbled against your pillow, now deep asleep with calmed breathing.
and on the other end of the line, rafe stayed for a while— just listening, just smiling, like loving you was the easiest thing he’d ever done.

cw: fluff, a lil jealous/territorial rafe moment
a/n: made this based off a reel i saw the other day, just gave it a little more thought. i. must. write. more. pogue. content. like or reblog if you likeyyy 🤙 and what you’d like to see!
night life in the obx was kind of… boring. so when rafe offered to take you, sarah, and kie to the mainland for a night out, you didn’t hesitate. his one request? bring some guy company. you knew he meant topper or kelce, but instead—
“yeah, john b and jj can come too,” you grin, fully aware he barely tolerates them.
he opens his mouth to protest but just sighs and bites his tongue.
i mean, you did give in to the request. fair trade, right?
the club you were heading to was throwing a costume party. you didn’t have much to work with, but you pulled something together: cat ears, a black corset, the tiniest matching skirt, and thigh-high boots. not a cutesy black cat—the hottest black cat. kind of like catwoman.
rafe never cared much about what you wore. you always asked if it was too much, if he even liked it. his answer never changed. “it’s all good, baby. i can fight.” followed by kisses and an endless string of compliments that made your head spin.
after a long, cramped drive...
you’re squished in the backseat of rafe’s truck between sarah and kie. sarah’s deer antlers keep bumping the roof, and kie won’t stop adjusting her mario overalls.
everyone cheers when the club finally comes into view—then groans in sync at the sight of the massive line out front.
rafe pulls into a lot across the street, parking like a man on a mission. in the passenger seat, jj straightens his green luigi hat, while john b’s camo vest is already halfway sliding off.
you lean forward between the seats, resting your chin near rafe’s shoulder. “hey, do you guys mind waiting in line while we fix our makeup and hair?”
he hands you the keys without looking. “yeah, yeah. we’ll be watchin’ ya,” he mutters.
he’s not really in costume—just his usual kook attire: dark slacks, a fitted black polo, and a sleek watch.
“i told you to be batman,” you tease, eyeing his outfit.
he shrugs. “what? i am batman. bruce wayne.”
you roll your eyes. he smirks, knowing he wins.
the boys get out first, stretching and grumbling about the cold. john b and jj are shirtless under their costumes—something about it being more the vibe. jj swings open the door for you girls to get out after. the second they leave, you all dive back into final touch-up mode.
you check your reflection in the rearview mirror, fixing your cat ears with a smirk. “can’t believe we actually pulled these together last minute…”
“jj literally had mario and luigi hats lying around his house,” kie says, blotting her lip combo.
“my deer antlers are from a costume i wore when i was thirteen. space buns just make it look a lot less tragic,” sarah adds, dusting more highlighter across her cheekbones.
you finish with your powder and everyone piles out of the truck.
as you’re heading toward the club line, a random guy with a mini mic and a cameraman stops in front of you.
“hey! can i ask you a few questions for a youtube video?” he grins, mic already up.
ooo this oughta be fun, you think. “sure,” you nod eagerly, glancing back at sarah and kie, who are already giggling.
“what’s your name?”
you tell him, and he repeats it before moving on. “what’s something you wouldn’t want your future husband to know about you?”
you smile confidently, tilting your head. “nothing, ’cause i’m perfect. beautiful. and amazing.”
kie laughs in front of you, and sarah whistles.
you don’t even notice that rafe and jj have wandered on over until rafe speaks up.
“yo, what’s this?” he asks, stepping up next to the youtuber.
“just an interview,” the guy says quickly, eyes going wide as jj joins him, arms crossed and unimpressed.
you open your mouth to say something else, but then rafe’s hand slides across your chest— landing just over your breast. not groping, just possessive. casual, almost, like it belonged there. he uses the motion to guide you away, hand lingering just long enough to make a point.
“yeah, just doing an interview…” the youtuber repeats nervously, looking at jj.
“mhm. okay.” rafe gives him a tight smile and nod. he then pats the guy’s chest twice—firm but not too aggressive. just enough.
jj claps the cameraman’s shoulder and steers sarah and kie away too. rafe slides his hand into yours as you walk toward the line.
“you were really going to flirt just for content?” he mutters, though there’s no real heat in it.
you glance up at him, grinning. “not seriously, but maybe just a little.” he squeezes your hand, shaking his head with a soft laugh.
you all rejoin john b at the end of the line. the music’s thumping from inside the club already, lights pulsing across the street, and your cat ears catch the glow from a passing car. rafe stands behind you, resting his chin on your shoulder, arms wrapped lazily around your waist.
bruce wayne, you think to yourself, smiling. yeah, sure.
cw: underage drinking (background), emotional/fluffy, physical intimacy (smooching)— lmk if there's more !!

i was a flight risk with a fear of falling /
wondering why we bother with love if it never lasts
you weren’t really the type to go to parties, chase after new boys every other month, or even dive headfirst into the usual kind of fun. sure, you could enjoy yourself without all that noise, but fun at all?— it just never felt like your scene.
was it that you weren’t interested, or were you quietly guarding your heart, tucking it away where no one could reach?
always setting aside what you truly wanted, sidestepping chances at love, and keeping your world small and safe— just waiting for something real to come along.
except for one saturday night, your friend drags you out to her birthday party at her beach house. she was more out there, a social butterfly, and completely unphased by all the loud music and boys playing games.
you head inside, scanning the drinks table for something to drink— anything without alcohol. and just as you reach for the last can of hawaiian punch, another hand goes for it too.
you look up, heart skipping a beat.
"shit that's my bad— it's all yours," with a friendly grin, he picks it up and hands it to you.
“thank you,” you say a little too loud, the music seeming to drop out the moment you speak. embarrassing.
you share a laugh with the stranger, taking the can from his outstretched hand.
"i'm rafe cameron. you?" scratching the back of his neck, almost shy and nervous.
you tell him your name with a genuine smile spread across your lips, "it's nice to meet you."
what are you doing? you ask yourself, biting back frustration.
do you remember, we were sitting there by the water?
the both of you seemed to be the only sober people at the stupid party. you'd heard about the infamous rafe cameron. so why were you sat tight beside him in the sand and watching stars above the moonlit ocean?
conversation flowed effortlessly. as if the universe had been quietly leading you to him all along.
"you know anything about the nightsky, cameron?" you ask.
he shrugs, eyes following the constellations, "nah, but i'm more interested in the girl asking than the stars themselves."
you put your arm around me for the first time
"it's so cold... i don't know why i let my friend pressure me into wearing this outfit. it's unbelievable," your eyes meet rafe's, gazing through your lashes.
saying nothing, he slips off his zip-up and places it around you.
"better?" he rubs your back with a careful touch.
you nod, heart pounding out of you, hardly keeping it together.
you share a smile— stupid, smitten, and bathed in the sweetest silence.
moments pass, then he pauses and looks down at you. he doesn't speak, but you're imagining gears turning in his head when he is.
the quiet hums around you— then he does it.
a weight settles across your shoulders—his arm—followed by a gentle hand soothing your opposite side, "is this okay?"
"it's good, yeah," and your head just falls onto his shoulder like a damned puzzle piece clicking into place.
you made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
rafe was everything you didn't want to be. and not in a bad way. it was also everything you loved and admired about that boy. he was outgoing and reckless, but also quite the romantic.
he took you on dates. he brought you flowers. he opened every door for you. he walked by the curb on sidewalks. he carried you down from his truck and brought you to your front door. hell, he even watched your favorite movie so you had someone to talk to about it!
but that's not the point— it was all for you.
rafe cameron taught you to love. he taught you to let go of your worries and trust a steady hand like his. something you’d been so afraid to do forever.
you are the best thing that's ever been mine
it’s nighttime and up on the roof of his house, you're snug between his legs with your back to his front, his arms wrapped tightly.
he kisses your head, then your cheek, your nose— finally, your lips.
it’s not the first time you’ve shared this, but right now, in this exact moment, it feels like a fucking dream.
not awkward or strange— just safe, warm, and perfectly right.
unwillingly, he pulls away from the kiss. then he mutters his name against your hair, his fingers taking your chin and lifting your face to look at him.
"i love you."
that’s when you knew— rafe’s heart was never lost in the stars.
it was always right here, with you. from the very first moment, now, and for always.
"oh, rafe. i love you," kissing his lips over and over again— fighting an insistent smile, but still, desperate to kiss your lover.
your emotions spill over, tears welling up in those same beautiful eyes rafe was so lucky to see that night you met him.
he leans in further, forehead against yours, breath warm and relaxed. your lips brush— hesitant at first, waiting for a response from you— then you nod. the kiss deepens, soft and deliberate, like the calm after a storm.
in that quiet space between heartbeats, he whispers with a small chuckle, "you're it for me. mine. i hope you know that, baby."
a/n: hehe i feel i might've gone a little overboard with the gifts, but today issss my birthday (07/09) sorry late release hehe... i kept messing w my parents that they were getting me a car even tho they obviously weren't— it was just funny to say so LMAOAO that's it thank you kisses for everyoneee <33
you wake up slowly. no alarm, no noise— just the weight of rafe’s arm tightly around your waist and light kisses from your ear down to your arm.
“happy birthday, baby,” he mumbles, rough and sleepy. he kisses you again, starting at the curve of your neck, then your cheek and shoulder, like he doesn’t want to stop. he rubs his hands over your belly, comforting enough to keep you glued to the bed. he gives a quick peck to your lips before getting up to set something special for breakfast.
a little later, he walks in steady with a tray of food. your favorite smoothie’s there— the one only rafe can make just right. beside it, a plate of waffles topped with strawberries, bacon, and a perfectly fried egg, warm and stacked. he sets it in front of you with a sweet grin. your legs are crossed as you wait patiently.
“hydration, baby,” he mumbles, nodding at the glass of water on the nightstand.
you kiss him before touching the food. “this is cute. thank you, hon.” he shrugs, cocking his head. “my girl deserves it all on her special day.” you lean into him as you scan the tray, deciding where to start.
he leans back against the headboard, running his hand along your lower back while you eat. he watches you silently, letting you do your thing. even accepting a few bites. “nothing big planned, just like you asked. just us today, yeah?” he says softly. you nod, tearing a bite of your bacon.
late afternoon, he tells you to get dressed. “nothing fancy,” he says, tossing you one of his hoodies. “just come with me, my love.”
next thing you know, you’re walking down the deck with his hands over your eyes, your nails almost digging into his forearms out of slight fear.
“rafe,” you laugh nervously, “if you let me fall—”
“i won’t. you know i got you.” and he’s right. you trust rafe more than yourself sometimes. you relax your body, your arms falling to your sides.
he leans into your ear. “alrighty. open those pretty eyes for me.” he pulls his hands away and wraps them around your torso.
on the boat deck: a giant bouquet of white roses and pink lilies, a handful of luxury shopping bags— hermes, dior, chanel, coach… all neatly arranged behind the flowers. two small cartier boxes sit next to them. but right in front, a black mercedes-benz key tied with a white silk bow.
you gasp, your hands landing on his over your stomach. you twist to face him. “rafe. what is this.”
he pulls you close, smirking innocently. “a little something.”
“you’re not serious!” you pout, holding your breath, tears threatening.
“there’s more at the house. couldn’t fit everything on the boat.” he chuckles, kissing your head. you stand holding each other, admiring the extravagant display.
“is that a damn benz key?” your eyes widen; you hadn’t seen it before. he laughs deeply. “yeah… i figured your junker didn’t suit you anymore.”
“it’s too much, rafe. you can’t be serious— you’re ridiculous.”
“maybe. but you deserve every bit of it.” he tilts your head up, cups your face gently, and kisses you deeply. to you, he is the greatest gift of all.
later, the boat drifts slowly through calm waters, the sun dipping low beneath the horizon and painting the sky in soft shades of orange and pink. rafe reaches into the nearby mini fridge and pulls out a big cupcake. he lights the single candle he’d kept in his pocket, then turns to you, singing happy birthday quietly, almost shy.
you smile with your hands intertwined behind your back— just enjoying the memory being made. he finishes off the song and brings the cupcake closer to you.
"make a wish, baby." he says tenderly, a big loving smile spread across his face. you nod and think for a moment, what to wish for...
you blow it out, wishing that this would last forever. but deep down, it wasn't even something you had to wish for— you already knew it would. with rafe, you had everything. more than you ever dreamed of.
he leans in, brushing a kiss to your cheek. "what'd you wish for?"
you smile, resting your forehead against his. "nothing i don't already have."
he wraps his arms around you as the sky fades into lavender and blue hues and the water gently rocks the boat beneath you both. no music, no noise, no one else— just rafe. just him, just this. it was quiet, and perfect, and it was yours.
