          —  Not much is known about Andrey Yver. As an infant, Andrey was found inside a basket at the town's line, wrapped in a thin old blanket.

           — The Order took Andrey in, caring for her until they could find a suitable parent.   

       —   Andrey was adopted by a man named Artyom Yver, an Order member. She was raised in luxury and knew all of the Order secrets.

      —   Her father loved her dearly, but he wasn't a warm person. He was always busy with business, and Andrey was left alone most of the time.

         —   She never minded it, however. She would explore the woods around her house, watching the shadows in the lake swim.

        —   When she turned eighteen, Andrey married Erzebeth Vaughan;  it was arranged, and they hardly felt anything for each other. Andrey doubted Erzebeth was capable of feeling anything at all.

       —   They had a daughter, soon after the wedding.

       —   Much like her father, Andrey wasn't the warmest affectionate person around; she cared, terribly so, but she was cold and was a woman of silence.

      —  When her father decided to retire, Erzebeth took over his place on the Order, and Andrey decided to work for them.

      —   She would make people disappear, talk to the werewolves and politely ask them to stop mating behind John's, make sure the mermaids were safe, and would ask the witches to stop trying to summon the witch of the lake.

      —   She had to keep all a secret, of course. But she never minded it much.

     —   Her marriage with Erzebeth ended when they were both 38, and fought more than shared a bed.

        —   She was granted visits to her daughter, but she always tried to avoid her ex-wife. Only when she had to take care of things for the Order they would talk.

        —   Caelan, her child, ended up taking Andrey's fiery personality, and Andrey would more often than not be called by the school because her daughter started a fight.

       —   Andrey is a very bitter person, she has seen too much, suffered too much, and she is really fucking tired of Bleak Falls and its people.

      —   IS A DOM

     —  Is not happy about the mark, at all. The thought off getting married again scares her.

    — A mom friend, even if she is a little harsh sometimes

hey, hello! i’m super pumped to be writing with you all. i’m hermes. i’ll be putting all of bodhi’s info under a cut. i’m down for any and all connections. i’m just awful at writing out connections, so let’s figure something out. i’ll also get something up for grace in a little while. 

tw: death & mental illness

bodhi’s parents weren’t a part of the order or anything, but both were well respected doctors in town. they had a private practice and did rounds at the hospital. some of his fondest childhood memories included him being dragged along and left in the doctor’s lounge which always had a variety of snacks.

he figured he would follow in their footsteps. it was easy enough to envision himself taking over the family practice. plus, he found medicine interesting. it was the urge to help people and get them better. he saw the good his parents did and really wanted to keep that legacy alive. it wasn’t out of some sense of duty.

he enrolled at the university and began the long road to medical school and training. at the age of twenty, he received bad news. while studying for a big final, the RA knocked on his door and let him know that his parents died in a rollover crash. they were headed to the outskirts of bleak falls when a big storm hit them out of nowhere and washed out a road. unable to focus, he dropped out of school and retreated.

the next few years were a blur. he was in a cycle of depression and destructive behavior. he never fell into full blown addiction, but mental illness hit him hard. realizing he needed help, he started going to therapy and seeing a psychiatrist as well to help him balance out his life again. going back to medical school was no longer something he wanted. the idea of leading his parents’s lives terrified him.

he decided he wanted to do something his time left on earth. it wouldn’t as life changing at being a doctor or surgeon, but it was something. he bought the red velvet and took over. he can usually be found in his office or out on the floor. he loves his regulars and dancers/employees. he tries not to be vulnerable and hides that facet of himself behind humor. 

bodhi is also a regular at john’s tavern. he’s very… do things he wants when he wants because tomorrow or tonight isn’t really guaranteed. since his parents’s deaths, he takes nothing for granted. he can be quiet at times but regarded usually as a goofball, mostly because he doesn’t know how to let people in. his temper is still a problem, but he does his best to control it. he’s most at ease at his club.

here’s my third child, rowan. under the cut you’ll find a little more info on her. per usual, i’m shit at connections, but totally down to plot/plan things out.  anyway, thanks for coming to my tedtalk. 

rowan had an average childhood. she wouldn’t ever ask anyone to be her biographer. she thinks her upbringing was rather boring, especially for a town that’s magically shut off from the rest of the world. her mother was a teacher at the high school and her father worked in construction. 

early on, her parents knew that she was a little different from most kids. during recess, she would wander to the edge of playground. sometimes she’d try to slip through the fence to get the woods. mostly, she brought a big drawing pad and sketched things she saw. her parents encouraged her outlier type of thinking. 

after high school, she enrolled in art classes at the college. she didn’t want to do anything full time. she was interested in getting a degree, only honing her craft and discovering other mediums. art was her passion and she always followed her heart. she drew, painted, sculpted anything she wanted. if she had muse, she followed it. 

by her late twenties, she figured out that she wanted to do something different. she practiced on fake skin until she confident enough to approach the tattoo shop in town for an apprentice ship. the shop owner -- john (not one of the three, but another one) -- took her under his wing. she was a quick study and eager to learn. she fell in love with the craft. she was finally able to create and leave permanent marks on her clients. 

a few years ago, john retired and sold her the shop. it’s hers now and she’s extremely grateful he trusted her with his legacy. she can be found in her shop almost everyday. it’s rare for her to take a day off, unless she gets the urge to go for a trek in the woods. but those days are usually far and few between. 

a little over six years ago, she met naomi wu -- a client who she did a few pieces on before designing something custom for her. they dated for less than a year before getting married. six months ago, naomi caught rowan in bed with another woman. they divorced and were happy not seeing each other. 

opening the letter and seeing her ex-wife’s name printed seemed like a cruel joke. maybe she told the witch to fuck off too many times. or maybe the inner order thought it would be funny. either way. she’s dreading seeing naomi again. she’s been off kilter since finding out. 

personality: rowan is a creative, out there type. she’s hedonistic, but within reason. she follows her muse/art. she’s friendly and a little crude. she flirts and likes to touch. she’s mostly a mess of a human being (i can relate), but is trying her best. mostly.

Hi guys!! My name is Jo and this is my angry little bean, Sabrina! I’m very open to plots with her, though I also have to admit that I’m terrible at writing out pre-written connections and work much better building them organically. Anyways, I’ve posted some major plot points to know about her under the cut.

So Sabrina grew up in a relatively healthy home environment. She had two parents that loved her, a gaggle of brothers who wasted no time in teaching her the art of throwing a killer right hook, and if it weren’t for the whole ‘growing up in a town where a demented witch demands sacrifices in the form of marriage and won’t let anyone leave’ deal, she’d almost describe her childhood as idyllic.

The best word I can use to describe Sabrina is... prickly. From a young age, she’s always been the type that doesn’t know how to shut her mouth. She’s loud and overly vocal about her beliefs, and mixed with a hell of a temper and a lack of a filter, she does tend to come off as far too sassy for her own good and perhaps even a bit crass at times. Don’t get into a verbal sparring match with Sabrina, because you’ll probably lose. Believe me, she’s a champ by now.

Throughout high school, Sab was somewhat middle of the pack socially even if she’d gained the reputation as a righteous bitch, but nobody could deny that the girl had a brain on her to match those good looks. She excelled in science and math especially, graduating valedictorian of her class, and quickly made her way into college where she studied to become a vet.

In college, she met a guy who pulled her headfirst into a whirlwind romance. Their love was passionate and intense, but most of all, it was far too fast-paced. Within six months, they ended up engaged only for her to realize that she’d been so consumed with it all that she hadn’t stopped to realize that they weren’t a good match. Unfortunately, that realization struck her the night before the wedding, and she ended up doing the unthinkable: she left the poor guy at the aisle.

Since then, Sabrina has avoided relationships like the plague, remaining under the impression that she just wasn’t the type of girl to settle down. She’s had hook-ups and flings, but marriage was never on the cards until what she’d been convinced was some sort of sting or allergic reaction ended up being the mark. 

Needless to say, she’s incredibly against it and is going to throw a major fit over the whole thing because truthfully, it wouldn’t be Sabrina if she didn’t.

it’s me again, your favorite demon. under the cut you’ll find more info about this... she’s a mess. as with bodhi, i’m down for any and all connections. i’m just terrible at listing them. if you have ideas, hit me up. 

grace grew up with just her father. her mom died when she was only two years old and she doesn’t remember her. the mystery around her death always hung in the air, especially when she got older. it was heavily implied that it had something to do with the witch and that was all she needed to know. she had no interest in investigating further. grace believes in science and what she can see. the witch is clearly real, but she doesn’t want to poke the sleeping beast.

she mainly focused on her studies in school. it was easier to excel in academics than in any other area. she stayed out of trouble, even with her father working to provide for them both. she didn’t ever blame him for being busy. she knew he was doing the best he could, so she mirrored that in her own way. 

after high school, she enrolled in college with med school school in mind. there was only one option in bleak falls, but grace worked her ass off to remain near the top of her class. picking surgeon was an easy choice. her hands were steady and with her ego, it was the only decision she could make. 

trauma was the perfect speciality for her. she loves the fact that she never knows what is going to come through the doors. it keeps her on her toes. she’s always studying new techniques and honing her skills. after six years of interning at the hospital, she now on the hospital’s payroll. she likes the schedule and doesn’t mind being on call for any emergency.

she’s got an ego. it’s all part of the reason she became a surgeon. she’s too smart for her own good and definitely a workaholic. she doesn’t worry about her social life. she’s known to have one night stands without any sort of commitment. she’s also pansexual, more worried about the attraction she feels towards a person. she can be found reading medical journals to stay up to date. 

she still sees her dad at least once a week for a family dinner. they trade off who cooks and hosts. he was always so supportive of her career and is incredibly proud of her. she’s working to pay off his mortgage so he can settle down and not worry about her anymore.

re: the mark. she;’s not even the least bit thrilled. she feels like it’s some sort of cosmic joke. she doesn’t want to be tied down. she enjoys her freedom and her home. she worked her ass off and now has to hand over her power to the whims of the witch.

Hello, I’m Doe. I live on the east coast, specifically very close to NYC which means I’m in the est timezone. I tend to be around at all hours of the night, mostly since I have no idea what sleep is and my furbaby tends to keep me up more often than not. Alright, enough of my rambles and onto someone more important, Grayson Hale! Below the cut is everything there is to know about him.

His full name is Grayson Alexander Hale, and he’s the oldest of five. He has two younger sister, and two younger brothers. He’s honestly really protective over them, especially with the whole marriage thing.

 He pretty much raised his younger siblings from the time he was twelve because his parents were always busy with their jobs, what with his mom working long hours at the hospital and his dad working long hours as a lawyer he never saw them.

Honestly he didn’t care all that much, just as long as there was money or food in the house to feed his four sibling and himself than he didn’t really mind.

He grew up in Bleak Falls, which meant he heard all the stories about the witch but he doesn’t fully believe the stories. Which led to him coming up with his own theories about everything going on surrounding the witch.

He also believed the wedding ceremony was all false, and that the people who were ‘chosen’ picked their own husbands/wives and loved them enough to marry them on their own free will. Not to appease some ‘witch’ 

Through out school, he only really had a few good friends. Mostly since he always seemed to tell people the his honest opinion about them or their opinions. Also, since he tended to be quite sarcastic when he gets annoyed.

People also didn’t want to deal with him rambling about one thing or another, but his friends never really minded since they always put in their own two cents.

It was mostly due to the fact that people didn’t understand why he couldn’t stay the night, or why he needed to be somewhere at a certain time.

Gray also seemed to get into things that didn’t concern him in school, like if your bullying someone than Gray is gonna be there to tell you off, one way or another.

After he graduated high school, he went  to college for four years to get his bachelors, then he went police academy since he wanted to be a cop ever since he was young.

He’s been in the field/a deputy for about four and a half years, and quite enjoys his job. 

He also doesn’t worry as much about his siblings waiting for him to come home to feed them now that they are old enough to somewhat fend for themselves.

His mind was changed however from what he thought as a kid/teen, when he felt his wrist burning from the mark, which was when he knew that it wasn’t just some story but it was actually his life.

When the mark developed {read burned} on his wrist, he made a vow that whomever he ended up with that he’ll make sure they will be extremely happy.

Honestly, this boy feels bad for whomever ends up with him since he hates that they are being forced into this, even if he himself is being told who to marry.
