Belarus Fashion Week spring-summer 2015
Black Fashion Week 2014 will be soon on FAtv #fashionafricatv #fatv #africanfashion #fashionweeks #blackfashionweek2014 #bfw2014 #bfw
In the very beautiful Algonquin Club of Boston, Firas Yousif chose a wonderful setting to debut his 2015 evening and bridal couture collection. I spoke with a few peers prior to the show and they all anticipated this to be one of the better shows to see during Boston Fashion Week; needless to say, I have to agree!
Mr. Yousif clearly has a focused on eye on what he wanted to deliver on the runway. Even though he used over 15 different models for the show, I felt that there was a doll-face and wide eyed look to all the models that he clearly casted for and absolutely succeeded. The detail on the pieces were gorgeous and they really complemented the various personalities and looks of the models.
The audience was also a very enthusiastic and engaged group that “oooed” and “ahhed” at every design they loved, which I think is nice for a change and makes fashion shows a bit more fun to experience. Take a look at the images below so that you can also “ooh” and “ahh” at the gorgeous designs.
All tickets sales from the show were donated directly to the Algonquin Club Art Preservation Foundation and they also did a special tribute in honor of the late Marylin Riseman.

As Boston Fashion Week nears to a close, the very popular fashion social outing “Fashionably Late” highlighted a trio of talented designers that graced the Liberty Hotel rotunda.
The feature designers for the evening were Kréyol, David Josef, Race&Grant, Julie Kontos and there was speciality table where Race&Grant were selling their pieces, which I think is something that Fashionably Late needs to incorporate more often. One thing I do love about attending fashion socials like “Fashionably Late” is the attendees are often just as stylish as the designs being displayed. I made 2 separate galleries for readers to enjoy the designs and the cool styles of the socialites that were in attendance.
Thanks for reading

Smiling celebrated Boston Fashion Week by providing a dynamic experience at the Harborside Inn on State Street and did so supporting Project Smile!
I walked into a beautiful atmosphere, where there were sweets supplied by Love’s Cakes & Pastries and Tia’s Baked and Unbaked Cakes & Pastries who had a beautiful and delicious assortment of cupcakes and other fun treats for patrons to enjoy. There was also special hor d’oeuvres that was made by Chef Jon Sargeant.
Catherine Pisacane and her team really executed well on creating an ambiance for everyone to be comfortable & social to enjoy the fashions that would be later displayed by Joe Malaika, Tatiana Tejedor, Nellie Theroux & Inga Puzikov.
