Ferdinand wandered the gardens of Diebold’s castle, hoping to run into his friend. It felt like too long a time had passed since their last meeting given how much change had passed. He did not feel quite himself, and with each passing day bitterness and spite seemed to consume him further. He was sure he wanted to be different than he was before, but the person he was turning into was not to his pleasure.
However, the fresh air and familiar hidden corners reminded him of other more carefree times and Ferdinand could not help but chuckle at some very pleasing memories. Maybe he could still be that Lorrie and the new one at the same time? Just as his mind explored the question, he turned to look upon a man he had not talked to before but of whom he knew about.
Before his unplanned celibacy Ferdinand had looked into the most handsome men and women come to stay in Switzerland.
“Ah, what a fortunate encounter,” he spoke in latin, “I’m not mistaken you are Ahmad Ali Khan, Would you care to share a stroll about this garden together? Just the two of us getting to know each other.” With a playful smile still upon his lips Ferdinand realized the surprised encounter had made him blunder into approaching with his flirtatious ways. It was both strange and thrilling.
