hello  !  as  seen  in  our  blurbs  for  spain,  portugal  and  england,  we  have  chosen  to  stay  respectfully  true  to  history  in  regards  to  the  expeditions  to  the  new  world  and  the  settling  of  colonies  in  south  america,  africa,  india,  malacca  (  part  of  modern  day  malaysia  ),  macau  and  so  on.  however,  we  will  not  be  explicitly  portraying  any  matter  involving  the  slavery  and  mass  genocide  that  went  hand  in  hand  with  the  colonization  of  these  lands  ─  as  discussed  with  the  muns  of  our  portuguese  characters  (  as  portugal  is  the  more  active  country  in  terms  of  exploration  and  settling  of  colonies  in  the  group  ),  seeing  as  both  spain  and  portugal  have  poc  as  monarchical  heads,  there  is  an  element  of  tolerance  that  is  enforced  by  the  kings  and  queen  on  their  colony  settlers  and  the  relationship  between  the  colonizers  and  the  natives  of  the  land  are  currently  amicable,  if  not  a  bit  strained.

I love the idea of this group and everything but Switzerland was never a monarchy, it's a shame there's that inaccuracy or else I'd love to join

hello ! thank you for interest in our group nevertheless. the admin team has done avid research pertaining to each country’s history. we were looking for an area that would include neutral ground which would allow for all these royals to convene without bias for one group over another. as this is a fictional game, we have taken liberties to switch up historical facts for the sake of more interesting gameplay. some would include the division of the hre and germany, having more diverse representation in historically predominant white societies, encouraging players to embrace empires that traditionally would not socialize outside of their own countries and the switching of a system of cantons by that of a monarchy, as we have done with switzerland (who will remain npc in order for us to better control how this all plays out). with that said, we hope to create a comfortable and inclusive space for our writers regardless of remaining 100% accurate to the past.

Is it 1 point for every 5 threads or every 5 replies? As the tracking template only counts threads but the explanation says replies.

the bonus point system rewards 1 point for every 5 written replies ─ i know that this might have been misunderstood as ‘threads’ could also refer to the individual interaction with a character, not counting the ‘replies’ done in the one thread, so we will make the necessary amendments as soon as possible to avoid future confusion !

and, as we approach the weekend, the main will be releasing an instructional post regarding the point system and submission soon as well !

how far can we deviate from the skeletons in our apps?

We’d prefer that you didn’t deviate exactly, as this will have a knock-on effect on lots of other characters in the RP. Rather, we want to see you expand on the character and add new elements the admins hadn’t considered. We want to see your character as a fully realised, fleshed-out being rather than the few lines of blurb we wrote. However, if there’s something you particularly want to change, please contact us off anon and we can discuss the possibilities.

could you explain the rolling acceptances please? thank you!

As we are still growing as a group, we have not determined a set day of the week for acceptance. Instead, we will be doing so as soon as the admins all have a chance to look at the apps we have in our inbox. Eventually we do plan to set a specific day or two, but at the moment this system is working for us!
