The main problem with being an active magical girl is that you’re expected to transform mid-battle. This shit takes me at least two hours to look this good, and ain’t nobody got time for that. Everything will be on fire and I’ll be like “Hold the fuck on, my ass is lopsided again!”
Don't listen to that other dude, the show didn't jump the shark. The show's being done under the assumption that George R. R. Martin is going to die before he finishes the series. They know how it ends and are now doing it their way. Books are still better, but show is valid substitute.
