What a Nice Day for a Near-Death Experience
*Walking to her house, Ender looks up at the sky. It was nice out, which she was grateful for. She quietly hums random songs that come to mind.*
*Ender makes it to her home, a 2-story place that was actually pretty nice, save for the busted front door. She groans, crouching down and looking at it. It was a Vineyard Single Wrought Iron Door, worth somewhere around 610,800 yen. (OOC: about 4,190 USD. Not the exact numbers, I loosely rounded.) Whatever that thing was, she was determined to make it regret coming into her home and ruining her nice things.*
*As she carefully walks through the house, she notices that a lot of stuff was destroyed. Her couch was ripped to shreds, her TV was busted, and her kitchen was littered with garbage and food that had been opened and thrown around. A deep anger churned inside her as she stared at the mess.*
*She sniffs the air, but for some strange reason, can't pick up any scent that might lead her to the monster. Instead, she listens. Still- nothing? Confused, she walks around. Maybe it was gone? She hopes it's gone...*
*Heading up the stairs, Ender looks in the guest rooms (they were empty, since she's never actually had guests over and hadn't planned on it either). But nothing still. Checking all the rooms, she finally comes to the conclusion that it was gone. Relaxing, she starts to go down the stairs.*
*...But she stops when she hears a growl behind her.*
*Spinning around, the creature slams into her, sending them both flying down the stairs. Ender hits the bottom hard, dazed, but she manages to stand just as the creature rammed into her again. She yells in pain, cursing as she hits the wall. She tries to stand but was soon met with a large, clawed hand pressing down on her. The creature reaches for her arm, ripping it off-*
*-only to be disappointed with a prosthetic. Ender takes the opportunity of confusion to slip out of the creature's grasp, running to the basement and locking the door. She stumbles down the stairs, falling on the last step. Hitting the ground yet again, her head spins. Despite this, she shakily stands up. She couldn't rest, not yet...*
*Her vision blurs as she makes her way to a different door- one that led outside. She practically crawls up the steps, not wanting to fall again. Bursting through the door, she forces herself to run from the house.*
*Now a good distance from the house, her legs give out as she collapses to the ground. As her eyelids grow heavy, she looks up at the sky. Before fading to black, she mutters quietly.*
What- a nice day- for a walk...
*Her eyes close, succumbing to the fatigue..*
