i completely understand the awkwardness, no one else i know irl is asexual and my parents don’t even think it’s a thing

yeah, like I told my mom but I don’t think she actually knows what I mean when I say ‘asexual’ im pretty sure she just thinks i mean celibate or that as of right now idc about relationships which isn’t entirely true. a couple of my friends know im asexual and they actually understand so it’s nice but i can’t exactly talk talk about it.

i know only one other person irl who is asexual and we talked about it once while we were over at a mutual friend’s house and it was one of the best things ever but since we are more just friendly than friends it’s not like i can talk to her a lot about it. :/
