Leftovers make the best desserts. This was a boozy ganache , leftover after frosting a chocolate cake. Sitting Pretty in the freezer and staring at me for the last 15 days. That was my leftover cookie dough. So I rolled out some dough, baked it blind and filled with some of that boozy ganache. I so didn't have the patience,so I defrosted it in the microwave. Moral of the story? Patience may be a smooth operator,but slightly lumpy is more human. Served with strawberries and salted caramel sauce. No patience to demould the tart shell too. Also the light of the setting sun is my favorite.
