Todoroki carefully thought about what to give Y/N The moment she had given him something for Valentines, he desperately wanted to show his feelings in return. He was unsure about what Y/N would enjoy. Of course, It was easy for him to be sidetracked with a bunch of tests and hero work coming up so he found it hard to find time to buy something for y/n so he quickly found himself a few days from white day with nothing to give. It would be disrespectful not to give anything to her back and it was a perfect way to confess his feelings. If he messed this up, he would never forgive himself.
It’s how he found himself at the store with Midoriya as they looked through the aisles. Todoroki would grab something only to put it back, if he bought you jewelry would you ever wear it? What if you wear out of obligation despite you not liking it just because he bought it? He wanted to buy you more with the chocolate, he wanted you to know just how much he cared for you.
His eyes stopped on a certain type of chocolate, he quickly grabbed a few without a second thought. Midoriya looked up at him surprised but smiled, he understood why his usually calm friend seemed so nervous now.
“I want to give her something else along with chocolate, jewelry maybe,” he said calmly as he walked through the store. Midoriya nodded. “Alright! Don't worry so much, if she likes you back she’ll love it either way.”
It was White day. You had given Todoroki something on Valentine’s, knowing him he probably was going to give you something back but would it just be a kind act from him or something more? You felt your heart pound at the thought, you smiled and shook your head hoping your red cheeks would fade.
Waiting for the day to end seemed to take forever but when it did you had to force yourself to keep calm, as you went outside you were disappointed you didn’t see Todoroki like you thought you would. Your heart dropped at a sudden thought, maybe he was confessing to momo right at this moment Saddened, you dragged yourself to your room. You looked up in surprise seeing a folded note taped to your door, you grabbed it carefully and opened it up.

Just like that you felt your heart flutter once more, beating loudly as if trying to escape your chest. You closed your eyes and tried to calm your racing heart. You opened the doors walking outside, you smiled seeing your crush todoroki as the sun behind him was slowly setting with beautiful colors of orange and red.
“Happy White day,” he mumbled with a soft smile as you walked up to him, he handed you a small basket that had a small box and some chocolate. You took it from him looking at what he got you, but you suddenly froze looking closely at the chocolate wondering if you could've seen it incorrectly.
Honmei chocolate,meant to be given to someone you romantically love. You stared up at Todoroki with wide eyes, his smile said it all. You felt your face turn a dark red as you fumbled with the small box, you gasped softly seeing a [jewelry] lying comfortably inside. It looked so expensive, you didn’t want to know how much money he spent
“Do you like it?” he asked softly, feeling his own heartbeat so loud that he was sure you could hear it.
You grinned and smiled quickly. “Do you really feel that way about me?” you asked quietly. Todoroki smiled and helped you put on the jewelry he bought you, “ L/N, would you go on a date with me?”
“P-please call me F/N and I would love to!” you said with a bright smile.
