Hench Part 4

Y/N had no idea where it was. 

Most everyone knew where the hero students had their classes, but not Y/N given that she just transferred, her official tour guide ditched her to work on a project, not that she could blame her. Giving the new kid with the limp a tour is not the way anyone would want to spend their afternoon, especially with final exams around the corner.

Lucky for Y/N, she was exempt from all tests this semester, unlucky for Y/N UA was like a maze and even though she had a map she was still confused. She started looking for the cafeteria but somehow ended up dilivering mail to Class 1-A, she made it to the hero building and looked around.

She looked back down at her phone and then stared at the empty endless hallways. Bright yellow walls with blue stripes extending as far as the eye could see, either her map was wrong or she was. Or they both were.

A green-haired boy came into view, patting his arms on his grey uniform pants, he knelt down to tie his bright red shoe, then stood up again. He looked at Y/N and shrugged his shoulders in confusion before walking over towards her.

His eyebrows were hidden behind his mess of dark green curls. He brought a hand up to ruffle them, revealing his thick eyebrows and wide eyes. They glinted off the bright florsenst lights in the ceiling.Y/N stared at him for a moment, lost in thought, staring at the constellation of freckles that dotted his cheeks. He extended his scarred hand.

“ Hi, my name is Izuku Midoria.”

Y/N looked at his hand and made no effort to shake his hand, just blinked at his face until she came back to her senses enough to reboot her brain and speak.

“ Hi, Izuku Midoria.” 

He glanced at her unlocked phone, and the map that lit up her phone screen, and back at her confused face.

“ Do you need help?” he smiled.

Y/N hated that, the looks that people gave her. The way they smiled when she walked by them, when people told her she was “ a brave young lady.” When people smiled at her and told her to get better soon when people looked at her and pouted with pity. Pity was the sea you drown in.

“ Why because I have a cane.” she snapped. 

The back of his head must have been exceptionally itchy because he kept scratching it, he glanced down at the wooden cane, and her knarled keep joint covered with knots, a few stitches and violent-looking scars, he tried to hide his distaste with a smile and violently shook his head.

“ No.. no, no, no, that’s not what I meant… I meant you just seem lost and… you were looking at a map on your phone and your holding 1-A mail, and I’m from 1-A and I was heading back to class so I thought. I didn’t even notice the cane, honestly.”

Y/N looked at him, his genuine look of confusion and worry at offending her, and nodded. 

“ I’m a bit lost. I’m from the support course and I don’t really know where I’m going,” she admitted ashamedly.

He leaned closer to her, closing the 2-foot gap between them, his face was so close for a moment they were breathing the same air. “ Can I tell you a secret?” he whispered, “ I still get lost sometimes too.”

“ Maybe we should find someone more directionally inclined.” she pretended to look around and shrugged. “ Guess I’m stuck with you, what a shame.”

“ Shame indeed.” he shrugged, he looked at her face, not the knarled remains of her leg, and studied her. She had a simple face, and wide sweet eyes that were careful and reckless all at once. Her cheeks were hollow, but filled with tense determination that he had to admire. Her windswept hair fell around her shoulders framing her face. “ Maybe we’ll get lost, gives me more of an excuse to talk to  you.”

Y/N felt her face get hot and pretended to wipe sleep out of her eyes to hide her blush, thankful that Deku looked aimlessly down the hallway.

“ It’s only my 3rd week, I promise I’m not usually this much of a moron.” 

“ You? A moron? Never,” he said, she stared at the way his freckles danced on his cheek when he spoke, distracted by his chin, which was like hers, she has no dimple. He extended his arm, and she looped it through his. “ You’re in the support course?” he asked.

“ What gave it away?”

“ I know everyone in the hero course, and most kids in the support course so lucky guess.”

“ Lucky, indeed.” 

They walked in comfortable silence, Deku occasionally pointing to doors or posters and talking about them, talking about how much he enjoyed being in 1A, and the upcoming trip to the USJ for training.

“ I’m sorry for snapping at you,” she said suddenly. “ I’m sorry, it’s just I assumed that you were only helping me because of the cane.”

“ That’s understandable,” he shrugged, “ it’s okay.”

“ No. It’s not. It was rude, you didn’t deserve it, and I’m sorry, it’s just hard, people always force help on me without even asking and I know they're only doing it because of my cane, so I assumed,” she realized what she was saying and who she sounded like, “ I’m sorry I’m not trying to make excuses, I just don’t have anyone to talk to.”

Deku half smiled with no teeth. “ That’s all right, you can keep going if you want.”

“ Ever since the accident people keep looking at me, and calling me brave, and telling me to get better and they keep calling me strong. I’m not brave, I just exist, and sure I exist and things are sometimes harder but I don’t need people telling me how brave I am. It makes life that much harder. One time this guy just carried me across the street because he assumed I couldn’t do it myself, he didn’t even ask me. People look at me and assume I need their pity, I don’t want it. I’m sorry I don’t know why I’m telling you this.”

“ Don’t apologize,” he smiled, “ why the sudden transferring of schools if you don’t mind me asking?”

“ I’d rather not speak about it.” she whispered quietly, “ if that’s alright.”

“ Of course, that’s all right. It’s perfect timing too.” he pointed to a wide open door in the distance, wide open where Aizawa stood, his arms folded over his chest as he tapped his foot expectantly. 

“ Sorry it took so long sir, I was helping her find your classroom.” Deku said sheepishly.

Y/N held out the fistful of envelopes. “ You have mail sir, I was asked to deliver it but I got a bit turned around. It’s my first week.”

Aizawa looked at her up and down. So this was Y/N. All 110lb of her, All Might talked so highly of her and Aizawa wondered why. She had to be good to transfer midway through the year. Especially with the frequent threats from the LOV.

“ You must be Y/N,” he uncrossed his arms and extended out his hand for a handshake.

She straightened her body but kept her head bowed, extending her hand with the mail and placing it in his hands. “ You know who I am, sir?”

“ All Might speaks very highly of you, and if you’re as half as good as he says you are then you have more natural talent than that can be taught.”

He took the stacks of envelopes and tucked them under his armpit, then he extended his hand once more for a handshake. Y/N lifted her head and looked at him with a quizzical expression.

“ He speaks about me, Sir?” Y/N sticks out her hand and grasps his with a slight squeeze.

“ There isn’t a member of the staff who doesn’t know your name, he made sure everyone knew it was true,” Aizwawa squeezed her hand back, and shook it ever so gently. He had kind eyes and a subtle face, Y/N didn’t miss that his eyes constantly darted around the room, looking for something. He looked back at Deku and motioned him back into the classroom. Deku nodded and walked through the door, stopping halfway through while muttering to himself.

He poked his head through the doorway and awkwardly smiled at Y/N. Y/N smiled back, confused, and waved. 

“ What are you doing after school?” he asked sheepishly.

Y/N shrugged her shoulders, she didn’t have any friends to hang out with, all her family members were dead or drunk. Usually, she sat at home alone and watched movies. Sometimes she would stroll around  a park but those were few and far between because she felt like a hindrance to others.

“ I was gonna go home,” she said.

Deku’s eyes went wide and his cheeks turned bright red. “ Do you maybe want to get lost on the way to getting pizza?”

It wasn’t even a question to Y/N. But she pretended to think about it for a second. “ Yeah, okay totally. I should go home and change first.”

Deku’s raised his cheeks in a smile. “ You look perfect. I’ll swing by your class afterschool, yeah?”

Y/N barley nodded before he disappeared back into the classroom.

Aizawa who looked vaguely amused watching the two awkward teenagers attempt to flirt grabbed her by the shoulder.

“ Are you free on Thursaday?” he asked. Y/N nervously nodded, “ Come back afterschool so I can keep you in the loop.” he said, and with that walked backward into the room and slammed the door shut behind him and continued to teach.

Bro..what is with tumblr and filling the tag of a character they dont fucking like??

Do you assholes realize that people actually like these characters?? Why is it sooo fucking hard to not tag a character you hate??

Im in specific tags for art, fics and headcanons etc. Not people listing eeevery little bad thing theyve done since theyre debut, not list how much this character sucks and deserves to be hated by everyone or die or whatever fucked up thing you mfs wanna come up with.

Todoroki x reader-white day

I’m sorry this took so long, I ran into some problems and made sure to do some research before writing, my wonderful friend edited this @pinky-the-elephant-room

Todoroki carefully thought about what to give Y/N The moment she had given him something for Valentines, he desperately wanted to show his feelings in return. He was unsure about what Y/N would enjoy. Of course, It was easy for him to be sidetracked with a bunch of tests and hero work coming up so he found it hard to find time to buy something for y/n so he quickly found himself a few days from white day with nothing to give. It would be disrespectful not to give anything to her back and it was a perfect way to confess his feelings. If he messed this up, he would never forgive himself.

It’s how he found himself at the store with Midoriya as they looked through the aisles. Todoroki would grab something only to put it back, if he bought you jewelry would you ever wear it? What if you wear out of obligation despite you not liking it just because he bought it? He wanted to buy you more with the chocolate, he wanted you to know just how much he cared for you.

His eyes stopped on a certain type of chocolate, he quickly grabbed a few without a second thought. Midoriya looked up at him surprised but smiled, he understood why his usually calm friend seemed so nervous now.

“I want to give her something else along with chocolate, jewelry maybe,” he said calmly as he walked through the store. Midoriya nodded. “Alright! Don't worry so much, if she likes you back she’ll love it either way.”

It was White day. You had given Todoroki something on Valentine’s, knowing him he probably was going to give you something back but would it just be a kind act from him or something more? You felt your heart pound at the thought, you smiled and shook your head hoping your red cheeks would fade.

Waiting for the day to end seemed to take forever but when it did you had to force yourself to keep calm, as you went outside you were disappointed you didn’t see Todoroki like you thought you would. Your heart dropped at a sudden thought, maybe he was confessing to momo right at this moment Saddened, you dragged yourself to your room. You looked up in surprise seeing a folded note taped to your door, you grabbed it carefully and opened it up.

Just like that you felt your heart flutter once more, beating loudly as if trying to escape your chest. You closed your eyes and tried to calm your racing heart. You opened the doors walking outside, you smiled seeing your crush todoroki as the sun behind him was slowly setting with beautiful colors of orange and red.

“Happy White day,” he mumbled with a soft smile as you walked up to him, he handed you a small basket that had a small box and some chocolate. You took it from him looking at what he got you, but you suddenly froze looking closely at the chocolate wondering if you could've seen it incorrectly.

Honmei chocolate,meant to be given to someone you romantically love. You stared up at Todoroki with wide eyes, his smile said it all. You felt your face turn a dark red as you fumbled with the small box, you gasped softly seeing a [jewelry] lying comfortably inside. It looked so expensive, you didn’t want to know how much money he spent

“Do you like it?” he asked softly, feeling his own heartbeat so loud that he was sure you could hear it.

You grinned and smiled quickly. “Do you really feel that way about me?” you asked quietly. Todoroki smiled and helped you put on the jewelry he bought you, “ L/N, would you go on a date with me?”

“P-please call me F/N and I would love to!” you said with a bright smile.
