This privet is urban yamadori collected when I lived in Portland in 2011. A score from down the street. All I had to was fill big recycleing bin on wheels after getting permission from the lady throwing a bunch out on the curb to be trashed. I need any material to work with that I could get my hand on at the time. I'm cloning for mame now, untill I get more boxwood varieties to propagate. This one is at least 15 years old. Much love to my friends from the Pacific side that let me collect this #azalea for #BHSep0. I must say it looks good! Unfortunately the cedar in #BHSep1 didn't make it past a hungry dog, but Ill go to Oregon and get another one with brother @mghmode

I collected a dwarf azalea, coral bell I think. It's doing great! It'll be ready to go into a bonsai pot next winter! I finally received the footage from my first failed episode in jan of 2011. It didn't make it to YouTube and for obvious reasons, like this blooper. I remember calling my friend that day in Oregon and three months later I eventually had to go all the way to Portland Oregon where @mghmode actually saw my vision and made #BHSep1 happen.
