This is a little embarrassing considering my last ask just a few days ago, but I’m thinking I might be biromantic after all. Just with a strong preference for other women/women-aligned folk.
That being said…I still think this blog is lovely and I feel nothing but love and solidarity for ace lesbians. Sapphics support sapphics - you’re all awesome✨
I hope yall have a good day/night.
I'm happy you figured out more about yourself. Thank you for supporting us ace lesbians!
Shoutout to trans and non binary aces who have been instrumental in creating aspec theory and laying the foundations of what we need to build and improve the community. Shoutout to gay aces who feel overlooked and ignored in the community bc of their attraction to men. Shoutout to ace lesbians and how much work we do in the ace community to create safe spaces without any thanks or any credit. Shoutout to bi and pan aces for raising awareness about the overlap in asexuality and mutlisexuality. Shoutout to aces who aren't straight. Shoutout to aces who arent cis. Shoutout to aces who aren't cis or het. We're queer too. We're in danger in too. We need support too. We deserve shoutouts too. We matter too.
I love how the conclusion to homophobia, racism and antiblackness in the asexual community was/is to maintain compulsory sexuality and argue for asexual exclusionism entirely instead of centring aces who are gay, lesbian, bi, pan, trans and/or POC and how we navigate this but instead just make our experiences harder. I love how white cishet asexuality is constantly centred in 'asexual discourse' in the name of 'fighting oppressors' whilst further erasing aces that aren't white, cis and/or het because our entire experiences and 'privileges' keep getting defined for us. I love how cishet ace exclusionists target gay, lesbian, bi, pan and trans aces regardless despite claiming to care about us because conditional support of identity isn't real support and will be revoked when it stops being beneficial. I love how cishet ace exclusionism has done absolutely nothing for advocating for gay and trans asexualities despite allegedly being done in our name. I love how not a single anti white asexual exclusionist has ever supported the work of aces of colour, specifically Black asexual theory, visibility or activism and never will. I love how anti white asexual exclusionists will be racist and antiblack and it's acceptable because ace POC are acceptable targets, because anti racism can be revoked for POC with 'abnormal' sexualities. I love how because of the privileges we don't have, the bigotries/oppressions we'll never benefit from, the sock puppet accounts that weren't even real and the 'discourse' a lot of us weren't even involved in, our sexuality is acceptable collateral damage. I love how we're the only ones who care about this. I love how we're the only ones who will do something about it.

I didn’t know it was asexual week, but as lame as it sounds it feels nice to be appreciated and respected
