anytime a nonhistorian says “you cant question a true story” it makes my history degree ass so mad…. theres an entire section of history - historiography - that deals with the ethics and accuracy of various ways the truth is reported and discussed

THIIIIIS as a screenwriter, I’m sitting here thinking, okay, you have the whole continent of Africa and all of its culture and history, and yet somehow we keep landing on these stories about war and famine, from the perspective of a White person who comes in and saves the day. Like that’s just so tired and cliche, really just bad writing. This story’s been told a billion times. If you want to tell this story, can’t you find a better perspective for telling it? Or like find a story from Africa that’s not about famine and war? There’s other things happening there, I guarantee you.

Hiii! I knos its been forever since you aent this but I forgot I had it and I never look at my inbox so :/

Anyway thank you so much!!! First, I like my hair, its a really pretty color and it mostly cooperates so I have good hair days a lot. Second, my creativeness, I paint (I'm not that good but its fun and I like it) and I liks to look at art a lot. Third, my willingness I guess it what id call it, if nobody sants to go to the storw with my mom sure ill go, i play Minecraft w my little sister w little resistance. Fourth, I like that I like to read, I get to escape reality by reading books and twilight is one of the books that got this reading mania into full swing. Fifth, I like my intelligence, not to brag but I'm a junior and junior year is supposed to be the hardest but its the first year I have straight As and my gpa is higher than its ever been.
